Samsung offers 7 "pawesome" tips to capture the best summer shots with the Galaxy S10

Yordan, 17 July 2019

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is in the running for the Smartphone of the Year title, with one of the reasons being its triple camera setup. The Korean manufacturer has just posted seven “pawesome” tips for summer photography starring an adorable corgi, because is there something better than some dog shots in your day.

The Galaxy S10 has three shooters on the back, lined up horizontally - 12 MP main shooter with variable aperture, 12 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 16 MP ultra-wide shooter. There is also a 10 MP f/1.9 front-facing camera with Dual Pixel PDAF.

All these specs sound great in theory, but they are also amazing in practice if you actually know how to make the phone work for you. Samsung suggests taking Beach Portraits with Live Focus - that way you can have a different artistic touch. You can also enjoy the whole shoreline and get more of that blue sky in your photo wit the ultra-wide lens that is a tap away.

Samsung is really proud of its stabilization and thanks to the Super Steady feature, you can go down a path taking videos without the shaking, actually making it worth watching later in time. The next tip is about the selfie shooter - that’s where a cute girl joins the corgi for bonus likes on social media.

Instagram Mode Instagram Mode

The Galaxy S10 series arrived with customizable modes - you can select in Setting which you can appear and which should disappear into obscurity. One of them is the Instagram mode which allows you to take an image and share it directly to your Stories or feed on the social media. There is also the dedicated Night Mode if you make the pup stay still for three seconds, and the slow-mo video for all the jumping-in-the-pool shots.

Most of the features are available in plenty of other phones, so take the bits of advice from Samsung and apply them to your daily driver - after all you don’t need specifically a Galaxy S10 smartphone to have a fun summer.

Those reasons are because Exynos is purposely reduced in performance to bow down / kneel down to the Snapdragon. (because America is great, #1 and yada yada yada) Otherwise, Snapdragon would be out of the equation.
