AnonD-47190, 18 Apr 2012Windows Phone devices running the Mango update will not be... moreThere are some reports saying we will get the update and some others saying no..but as of now,they are still just rumours and nothing has been announced officialpy by MS...For a platform like wp which has so less of marketshare now and a long catching up to do with ios and android,it would only make sense for MS to update existing phones..Having said that not everything may come to old phones.There will be some exclusive features for the new devices otherwise nobody will buy new phones.Now if you wana wait,you might have to wait for an eternity for wp8 devices as even tango hasnt been released yet.so common sense says wp8 devices will take another 8-10months to hit the stores.

Guys, I have been doing some reading about Windows Phone 7.5 and came across another limitation.
The Wi-fi gets disconnected automatically when the phone goes to sleep, screen locked. Is there a way to make sure the wifi stays on as long as its 'ON' in the settings? Apart from never letting the phone to go to sleep mode that is.
