Can anyone tell me what the format is that I have to download for ringing/vibrating at the same time? Apparantly some ringtones (depending on their format) have vibration included. So its not just down to the phone settings. If anyone has ringtone no.2 in this format- please post it. Thanks

Thanks for the reply- I'm a bit nervous about taking the scrubber to my lovely new phone right now, so I might just leave it until there are a few more visible scratches!! Cant bare the thought of messing it up!!!

I took my back off, rolled up a towel, put the back on the towel then scrubed medium/ hard for first ten mins, then it will look ugly and light, When its all ugly go hard till its back to normal. MAKE SURE NOT TO HARD!!!! U DONT WANNA BEND THE BACK that's y I used towel. ALSO MAKE SURE UP AND DOWN IN STRAIGHT LINES!!!!! VERY IMPORTANT. I think there is some sort of coating on the back so I used a little oven cleaner when the ugly bits were gone. PS LEAVE THE SIDES ALONE. as thats how original is.

For the brushing- is it 20 mins of hard slog or just light brushing? Also, did you have to remove the back and tape it down to a table or something? And are you supposed to do it just in one direction/ straight lines or can you just srub in any old direction? How do you do the sides of it?

Woah, how come you get 5 playlists!? I've only got 4..... By the way, have yuo tried using the Multimedia manager that comes on the CD - it's similar to iTunes but for your phone! You can create many playlists in there but i'm not sure if they will tranfer to the phone - haven't had time to try yet. PLUS after trying the software for a few mins it didn't seem to pick up my memory card. Anyone else tried? I've previously preferred to transfer music etc. through windows explorer - maybe worth a try actually using the supplied software for a change!!

Hi all, a few things:
I too have had the 200+ songs in the My Music folder problem - just to add I can only find 5 play lists to modify and import tunes into - anyone know if I can add more play lists??.
I have been using the p310 with a Sony Bluetooth stereo hands free kit and it works very well indeed(going to sell my nano) but on 2 of my tracks when played reset the Bluetooth connection on the phone - any ideas guys??
last but not least - this ipod brushing thing - my P310 back has got scratched as a bugger so i got myself a sponge with a green scrubber on it and practiced on my old ipod nano first. after 10mins of brushing (pressing on hard the nano looked mint. So feeling brave got my phone out and had ago. after 15mins i was getting ready to order a replacement back from Samsung coz it looked so bad - all dull and white patches with a glint of silver in specks. I stopped - had a cig (optional)and then proceeded to give it another 20mins - WOW in the last five mins it all made sense! the phones back guard is bright shinny brush steel without a scratch. and the best thing is you can repeat every time u scratch it now and it takes just a couple of mins to get top results. - I bet it added £20 to the value of my old ipod - even the etching(logos etc) stays perfect.
Brushing has its risks but it sorted me out for a bit!!
Hope this is of some help!

Can anybody confirm that a 2GB memory card will work with the P310? I'm using my 1GB card from my D900. I tried the 2GB with the D900 but it doesn't work so i sold the 2GB :-(.

Got my P310 yesterday. I love the looks but it's got 2 annoying problems compared to my D900 - 1) You can't assign an MP3 tune to be your 'ALARM' tone - 2) All of you MP3's must be in the 'MUSIC' folder. Sounds right i hear you say.... BUT what if you have 300 MP3's (like me) - i used to have each artist in thier own subdirectory but the P310 won't recognise the subdirectories from the music player. It does see them when yuo use 'MY FILES' but yuo can't add the tracks to your playlists as the option is greyed out. The result....? 300 MP3's all in one directory - NIGHTMARE!!!!

Dont worry- got it sorted- its just coz I had the digit type face set as 'script'- set it back to 'normal' and I can change the keypad tones- have no idea why the two are linked but there you go!!
