I had the same dilemma before when i was looking for a new tablet to replace my old ipad. I was choosing between this and the ipad 2. Since i value portability and the ability to customize my gadgets i choose the galaxy 7+ (i really hated being tied down to iTunes). So it's basically what you want to prioritize.

What i dont really like about the tab is the low 3.15MP for the camera. I believe such a tab should have a higher MP.(5MP upwards).

Guys i want to buy a new tablet , my options are Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus or iPad 2 Wifi , now my question are:
1. Which one should i Buy ? Why ?
2. I am more on Browsing the internet.. like facebook.com which one is good enough ?
3.50% 1080p Movies and 50% playing games on a device . which one has a good and smooth experience?
4. In my Mind is Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus , should i pick it ?
i want a smooth one tablet that i can use for communicating like facebook chat/twitter .

mr. babu, 16 Apr 2012hi all i bought gt p6200 on 30 march 2012 and it got iemei ... moreGot same issue with my Galaxy S2, visited samsung service center and been informed about a fault on rooting the device which voided the warranty...After 2-3 hours of debate with their technician (which i think knows nothing on adroids), spoke with the manager and had my phone sent for repair...I was notified of motherboard replacement and got it replaced for FREE... It's a motherboard issue dude!

This the best, handy and light weight tab which does every work of yours with ease and effortlessness. Price may be a factor for those who want a budget device but if you do not want any flaws then, flawlessness is expensive:-) Great Tab.
Fast in document typing , excellent touch, 360 view, accelerometer.
Statutory Advice:- Do not prejudice about a device just because of the reviews instead take the pain of taking a demo. P6200 is the best in class device of the Tablet leader "Samsung" in India.

yu, 16 Apr 2012is GPS really work for this galaxy tab...wanna buy it for t... moremy wife bought me a samsung galaxy tab 7.0 plus as a gift. we used it as our gps in our trip to banawe rice terraces, tuguegarao, claveria, pagudpod and laoag last holy wik. all roads were there as the gps showed it.
the tab is an all in one gadget worth your every buck.
