tin, 24 Jan 2012what should i do so that the unit will not automatically co... moretap the bottom right corner of the tab(main home)that shows wifi signal and battery. Click the settings, go to wireless and networks then click Mobile networks (located at the bottom portion)then click the User Packet Data to Activate and De-Activate... hope this help... :D

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2012What should i do so that the unit will not automatically co... moreYou can go to settings> wireless and networks> mobile networks> and look for anything that says USE PACKET DATA or under wireless and networks, look for an option that says "mobile network" (wihtout S at the end) and remove the check. :))

I use this on my android phone so that it won't automatically connect to my 3G/4G network but still be able to receive MMS.
Not sure if it'll work for Android 3.X (Honeycomb)though since i haven't tried it on a tablet yet. Still, it might be worth looking into.
