Just wait for ice cream sandwich official release to update p1000. Ice cream is better than honeycomb.

Ya there is.Theres a Honeycomb Experimental Rom for Galaxy Tab CDMA.Sad that dev doesnt have a GSM Tablet.

dude check your stats samsung is been doing there marketing strategy a long time ago. thats why samsung has a lot of cellphones and tabs but always the same specs. your saying first gen of tab 7 cannot be updated to honeycomb? your kidding right? they just need to update it that's all. you will see what i mean when a new gen of androids come along and this latest version of tab 7 cannot be updated too as you said it cannot meet its specs...this too will die like 1st gen of tab 7... save your money and wait for the best one to come...

marketing strategy!
why release another 7" tablet with honeycomb where you can upgrade the p1000 also tab 7" to honeycomb?
i feel sorry for those who owns the first generation of tab 7", now i know how samsung plays the game.
i tell if android releases another latest version this tab 7 plus will not be upgraded. instead they will release another tab with same specs but with the latest's version of android... cool gadget but for a limited time... very disappointing!!!
