I have seen sample pictures of the Taiwanese Version of this phone...(Samsung XXX-200 or so) and the pictures were F***IN' AWESOME!!!
They were smooth, no grain, colorful... you just couldn't tell the difference from a real camera.
And features, OMG features are amazing. The screen is smaller, yet it's 320 x 240 which means they compressed the pixels even more.

The only thing it lacks is optical zoom, thats why it wans't "raved" by so many responses...on top of that, small lense makes it harder to procure wider angle capabilities and exposures...
but recently, if y'all know the news...samsung decided to add x3 optical zoom to it...how nice...

This phone was out in Korea LONG LONG time ago... But they say it's not that good.
I would rather buy Samsung D600.

phone with 5 mp camera? its really..really...really great inovation but as usual samsung always has poor features. is camera phones have a same quality as good as digital camera? even it is has 5 mp resolution?

And the weight is 116g.

16 M(million) = 16.000.000 colours :)

16M = 16,000,000k, like when you but a TFT monitor with 16 Million colour, 64 times better that 262,000k

Hey with a 5 mega pix cam and 16 m screen this phone is a blast. but problems can arise depending on the type of battrey used because with such powerfull hard ware the usage time for an above average user would be very limited. oherwise its a great phone

almost same model as this was released in korean market last October. 5mp camera phone..
Samsung is trying to release d600 in north america this month(june). and focusing to release 5mp phone in north america in this year..

oh my god this phone has 5MP camera that is amazing unbealivle stunning wwwooowww
