Less than a couple of months after revealing that its mobile payments service Samsung Pay is coming to Singapore in Q2 2016, Samsung has announced the exact launch date. In a press release today, the company said that the service will be available in the Asian country starting June 16.

"We are excited to bring this service to Singapore consumers and we hope to introduce value-added services to drive and lead innovation in mobile commerce, giving consumers a safer, smarter and better mobile wallet," said Thomas Ko, Vice President and Global Co-General Manager of Samsung Pay at Samsung Electronics.
