Samsung pushes One UI 6.1.1 to Galaxy S23, Z Fold5, Flip5 in Europe, India, and more

Samsung launched One UI 6.1.1 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 last month and it later seeded it to the Galaxy S24 series. Today the rollout reaches last year's foldables Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 are also getting a new interface that brings more Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra are also getting the new software update, starting today, as confirmations came from Europe, India, and other markets. The package requires a download of about 2.6 GB.

The most important new features are from the Galaxy AI Suite. Sketches can be made into drawings, and a whole new set of portraits can be created out of a simple image with a simple tag on the Galaxy AI icon in the Gallery app.

We also uploaded a screenshot with the entire changelog here.

The package is named One UI 6.1 on Galaxy S23 phones, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Z Fold5, even though it's identical to One UI 6.1.1. It comes with last month's August 1 security patch though, which suggests we'll soon see a new update for the September 1 patches.
