Hi...I'm from Cairo,Egypt.this phone is sold in Egypt for (750 LE) about 150 $. Unfortuently it is not supported Arabic Language.but in general it is good.

This phone is too gimmicky. Features are mostly skin-deep. It lacks true power. The software isn't multitasking (which explains it very fast speed): the scheduler won't alert you if you're WAPping or otherwise not in idle mode. Games can't be suspended and resumed later. SMS in composition is lost when call comes in. Games are stupid. Composer can't set tempo. No vibe on SMS. No vibe on reminders. Can't vibe and ring simultaneously. WAP won't work with some sites like Yahoo! mail. Doesn't have outbox/sent items folders. Can't edit received SMS. Battery meter is not linear; the middle bar seems to disappear a lot quicker.
To it's credit though the voice quality is top notch, easily the best. Backlight is the best.

Samsung R220 compatiable with Nokia ringtones.The owner of Samsung R220 can use any melody for Nokia or send it to Samsung R220.

The Phone doesn't Vibrate when recieving SMS (when vibration is active).I recieved a ringtone but I lost it because The Vibration was Active. Samsung R220 has few mistakes but in general it is good.

this is a very good phone, and has definetly changed the way Nokia did with 5110, but battery is an issue. if samsung can take care of battery problems this is a great phone "VALUE FOR MONEY"
