nice slide up phone with better design than its predecessors.
very handy and worthy for its price.
nice sound for mp3 playing with a slot for an 8GB micro Sd card (a large chunk of songs);
the owner can personalize his/her home screen and edit the theme according to his/her mood and favorite color.
drawback:
> slow response of the keypad. !!! ((((take note)))
> i can't play my videos (MP4 nor 3GP nor MPEG4 formats)--- unlike my old D880, which delivers clear and crisp video, as i downloaded it from the net, after converting the video file with the samsung pc suite...tsk, tsk, tsk... too bad...

just bought it. is light and robust. keypad is ok. interface is nice, simple and you get all the expected stuff. calling is clear.
it's a basic phone with a lot of little nice-to-haves.
i paid 69 € for it. happy so far :-)
