What is the use of all nice functions when its battery is not up to mark it discharges so quickly that noone can imagine. Standby and Talktime both are below standard and not as per shown by Samsung on its site( It shows standbye of 600 Hrs and talktime of 10.5 hrs which is a bluff and untrue fact)

Very Poor Battery backupand Talktime . It shows low battery in just 2 hours Talk time and 3-4 hours playing music

I have a problem with mobile tracker , whenever I switch on my mobile tracker ( after adding a recipent no.) and restart my phone, the phone automatically sends a tracing message to the recipent EVEN WHEN I DONT CHANGE THE SIM CARD. I AM CURRENTLY USING AIRTEL SIM AND HAVE TRIED WITH OTHER SIM CARDS ALSO ,but still the problem persists please help me

Even though this is a good phone, there are many other better phones from other brands.
Negative aspects are:
Not many themes are available for this mobile..
user interface is not friendly when compared what you get in symbian s40 phones..Its UI is boring..
lack of connection point for normal headfones..

its really a nice phone and best value for money. I think, this will beat all the mobiles in its range.
High quality screen, graphics, good cam, excellent sound, stylish and handy design, modern look at this price really makes me feel very happy. I went to shop pre-decided to buy sony's k550 or G502, but just after seeing this mobile, thrown the other options to hell ;-)

ajay, 20 Jul 2009its from ur point of view but i am using it from 1 week bef... moreI like to store thousands of SMS, change my theme once a week, install third party software and games..none of which are possible in low end samsung.
When it comes to customization and value for money NOKIA is the best.

ok just search for "site:samsung.com s3310" in google , remove quotations. ul come up with samsung sites of different countries with this model, check the full specs. all display upto 4hrs talktime. only Indian site shows 10.5hrs.
But again, only indian site shows 880mAh spec of battery. others dont mention anything.

the battery talktime of 10.5hrs claimed by samsung in India seems to be a scam.
i almost bought this phone falling for that but upon some research, turns out to be fishy.
the indian samsung site claims 10.5hrs of talk time

u might not understand the language but u can get the number. the site layout of all countries is similar.
and gsmarena itself diplays upto 3.5hrs in its specification.
Also, the comments from users regarding talktime are negative.
Then why the hell did samsung claim 10.5hrs of talktime???? i have no clue at all. i wish that was correct, i wudve bought the phone. but it appears like a scam

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2009open ur eyes son and see which one has same old looks.its from ur point of view but i am using it from 1 week before and its working very nice camera is good and looks are very nice u hv ur own opinion and looks doesn;t matter when the features are good and nokia is the worst in this range fones use samsung insteead of nokia and u will definitely feel the difference son change ur mind opinion and tryy for samsung mobile fone u will then definitely know about the looks and the features hv ur nokia and live with the oldest ones and the oldest models i hv my eyes open but i shld make sure that u shld throw water at ur eyes before purchasing the handsets
