The price has now gone down to Rs.3950 at Poorvika mobiles. Great value for money. It also comes with a 2GB card now. Great sound and excellent battery backup. You can blindly buy it.

Hello Friends...
I am using S3310 for last 3 months,
I have experimented a lot before buying it.
I Found it Excelent...
SCREEN has 16 milion colour(2.1 inch big). mp4 support, Video quality is like airtel digital tv.
best for watching movie..
JAVA support... (Installing is a bit tricky though)
messege inbox is 200(a bit low). 500 message memory is distributed to inbox, sent, draft.... so 200/500 would show inbox full message..
camera is quite good,very fast capture, Video is also good, 320x240 resolution with 15fps.
redio is quite good, I found it better than my Sony ericsson k550i, reception is good even in train..
sound quality is mediokar.Not as good as SE ofcourse..

Guys,
for all those who are in dilemma to buy this mobile...
I have been using this for the last 2 weeks..
My review Part-1 [Cam & Music player]:
1. Excellent still camera in this price range (far better than Nokia XM 5130). The image quality is almost nearer to N73 which has a 3.2MP cam)
2. Forget about the videos.. it is just the same as in 5130 XM. Can be used only for MMS...if anybody really uses it..
3. Sound quality is decent through earphones. Somebody told that there's no bass at all! Dont compare it with SE megabass. Then u feel that the bass is pretty sufficient thru earphones.
4. I listen to music mostly thru loudspeaker. The loudness is not just enough for "me". Nonetheless, u can easily hack and get the loudspeaker volume up. I did it...and really working. Yes, ofcourse, the sound quality after hacking will be reduced at max volume level (ie., 14). But I can easily live with that. You wont notice the fall in quality (at max vol level) after hacking as you dont place the handset near your hears.
Will be back with detailed opinion on the mobile on other features as well..

samsung s3310 limits the message storage only upto 200 number. So by any software or any other means is it possible to extend the messages storage limit...???
