thanks for d info yaar u r really helping a lot here. n my dear friends wat happens to u why r u asking d same questions again n again. its u who wanna spend ur money wisely dan at least hav courtesy to read d earlier comments. hey yogesh why r u asking bout d message limit wen he earlier told dis in his comment. here u guyz r suppose to read d comments n if u dont find ur answer dan u should ask.

    ha ha ha... n which nokia n se phone worth Rs 5600 hav all these features which s3500 possess. they doesnt even have decent 2.2 inch screen with 16m colour phone under ten thousand rupees. ya but i like ur joke ....lolz

          Hey Arun,

          I want to ask you few questions about this phone before buying it.
          1) How much is the playlist size of music files and can we have multiple playlists in it.
          2) Call recording option. How does it work? coz I had samsung x700 before and call recording was through an internal code. but we need to put that code while call is running. If we put that code before call is initiated then we can't hear anything from the other side. Is this the same in this phone as well?
          3) How many messages we can store in this phone?

          Please answer these questions.

              it1s true that samsung s3500 have very bad speaker? very very low volume? to talk whith handfree for speakerphone?

                few more addition like

                can we really forward messeges via bluetooth?

                is there a limitation for games download like 20,30, 40 max like there in the J150

                also wat abt jar file size limit?

                one more intresting thing like in the J150 if u browse the memcard from the Images other than the "other FILES" then it will show only the images or that particular section file present and no other files in the videos sounds etc and folder as an empty that i deleted accidently manier times......same in the case of S3500?

                is there a way to install themes in the S3500 like we can do with the NOKIA or SE i know u can create itself but i never installed a theme or found a single 1 compatible with the J150.

                lastly wat symbian version it has S40 V3? or ....

                  can u recheck few things for me i have samsung J150 and want u to just recheck few things that i dont have in J150 or i seriously doubt

                  like

                  FM recording? is it there
                  Block calls (messeges i know but calls?)
                  Image format my J150 dont suppot all
                  what about Video format 3GP, mp4? wat else pls elabo.
                  video rec. directly to mem card really?

                  video FFD is there in the J150. not in S3500?

                  copy paste i mean text like the pencil feature in Nokia

                  please i am not in a hurry i just want correct info... hope u undrstand

                      first of all YES u can send or save contacts, messages, songs, rings etc via bluetooth. u can save it in both: phone memory or memory card (wherever u want to)

                      YES u can record calls, & the good thing is the person whom u r talking to is not going to hear any kind of beep... & the recorded clips are really very clear :)

                      YES call recording is not limited to memory card, it depends upon ur preference wether u want to save them in ur phone or ur memoy card.

                      YES ofcouse u can turn it ON without sim... u can listen to ur songs, play games, use calculator, listen to FM etc even without inserting the sim.

                      YES u can record ur favourite FM programmes.

                      YES u can switch off the sound while clicking photos.

                      YES u can block sms's as well as calls.

                      YES it does have usb charging feature.

                      YES its shutter is really fast all u hav to do is jus click it no need to hold.

                      YES its interface speed is really good. i hav 2GB memory card n my phone never slow down.

                      YES it support all these image formats: JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG.

                      YES it does multitasking u can easily send ur messages while listening to ur music. background music feature is also there.

                      YES u can send contacts via bluetooth.

                      YES privacy lock feature is also there in this phone, u can lock ur contacts, ur messages, ur call log or ur "MY FILES".

                      YES u can see ur pics by clicking next u dont have to go to back tab but only in phone memory mode.

                      NO video ffd n rwd.

                      YES u can copy paste or move allmost everything, ur contacts, messages, rings, songs, pics etc,

                          yup u r right buddy but my suggestion for u is try to store everything including ur music, ringtones, games e.t.c in memeory card n use ur phone memory only for ur pics. it got 40mb internal memory i think which would be enough for at least 140 to 160 pics.

                          fortunately u got the right phone... :)
                          u dont hav to search for any message locking software coz ur phone have this feature inbuild in it.
                          jus go into ur phone MENU - SETTINGS - SECURITY - PRIVACY LOCK than click on messages, set a password...here u go buddy ur messages are locked.

                          YES ofcourse this phone has predictive calling n u can certainly change the dialling number font, not only this u can also change the colours of dialling number fonts and their background.

                                Hi Arun,

                                It seems like, you have explored the S3500 very well.
                                I am facing one problem in viewing the captured images from memory card in one go. I have already posted my problem.But i can describe it once again..

                                I am facing problem in viewing captured images in memory card. when i am saving photos in phone memory, i am able to view all the photos using next. But if i am changing the camera setting to save pictures into memory card then i am not able to see all the pictures continuously. I have see one photo and have to go back and see the next photo..

Same like what we have for Sony Ericsson W580 (3.5 mm). You will get a different music experience as Music player in this phone is one of the best in its class. As mentioned in my earlier comment earphones with connector will cost u around Rs.800/- but itz worth it. Try it. Hope it helps.

                                    this hp is so cool!!! the first samsung that i had and it sures impress me!!!! the theme creator os so cool.i convinced my bro to change his hp(nokia) to samsung phones!!! hahahaha
