Its good but you cant perform any work while the slide is down. you have to do the work by making the slide up only..

I would like to know from current users of S3500 if it's really normal that in charging after awhile it will indicate battery full but after unplugging it and then replug it will continue to charge

first download "jad maker" (its a freeware jus google it) so that u can make a jad installer file and then download games of 240*320 resolution (upto 500kb)...convert the jar files into jad format wid the "jad maker"...after converting...u will get two files...one will be .jar and other will be .jad...put BOTH the files in the phone memory's 'other files' folder...when u paste both the files in ur phone through ur samsung pc studio..a installer will appear on ur mobile screen...click 'yes' and the game will be installed...
there is another way also u can paste both the files (jar & jad) in ur memory card "other files" folder than after disconnecting ur pc suite jus click(middle key) on the jar files n it will install the games......
enjoy.....

Hi all S3500 users... Please don't get offended by my intrusion.
This phone supports Bluetooth File transfer profile right? So i'm sharing with you all a neat trick that I discovered on my LG phone. As this phone supports BT FTP profile, it should work equally as well on this phone too. With everyone's permission i'm posting it here for you.
Today I just purchased a new BT dongle (Enter smallest BT dongle) with 2.0 support. Installed the drivers and all the software and started it. My phone was paired and after that, under the software options, I added my computer drive with all the mp3's stored in it on the shared FTP folder.
Next on the phone, under all services, I selected file transfer service and then connected my PC.
Walla.... Now I can access all the files and folders in my PC wirelessly and get whatever files I want from my PC remotely.
It might seem like i'm a bit idle, but who cares when I can get the files I like on the other room without staring at the monitor all the time. And the BT transfer speeds are also in the range of 50-60KBps.
You should try it out too.. might be a bit unorthodox but it is fun.
BOSS and others might already know about this. Anyway kindly ignore if it doesn't interest you...

camcorder of s3500 is the BEST u can buy at this price.
-QVGA video recording(much supirior to qcif)
-320*240 video recording resolution
-record video in mpeg-4 (MP4) & h.263 format.
-cam cover: cam is not at the back of fone....it is inbetween the slide so slide act as a cam cover n protect lens from scratches, dust n all.

moreover watchin videos/movies on s3500 is awesome experience thanks to its BIG QVGA SCREEN n lively 1 crore 60 lakh colours(16m).

anyways i think u wanna knw how u lock ur messages with a password!!!!! isnt it.
by the way protection on & locking messages are 2 diffrent features.
so hereis the way to lock ur messages:
menu - settings - security - privacy lock - here choose "messages" n set a passcode......its done now all ur messages are locked.
here u can also lock ur stuff(videos, pics, softwares), call log, phonebook, calender, memo, task etc.

to fast forward jus press n hold right nevigation key n to rewind jus press n hold left nevigation key.
moreover it ffwd/rwd in gradually increasing order i.e. it increase its speed gradually.
like 2x...4x...8x etc
the long u press the fast u forwards.
