i do have this phone n am also a fan of this lyk u all...
well i have query about it..
1. i have read a lot on the web aout its feature of document viewer, does it actually have it
2. is there any way to store msgs directly to phone memory rather than to sim memory... coz each time i have to move msg to phone...

Im going to buy this phone. But somebody pls tell after its price reduction to Rs5200 does pc suite from the box has been removed?? One retailer told me that he will not give me pc suite at this price. At rs5400 other retailer is giving it. What should i do? Has someone bought it at rs5200 along with pc suite?? Pls pls reply fast.

u cant find these fetures in any other phone at its price or even if u pay rs2000 or 2500 more....(check urself)

Multiple Alarm: There are five alarm slots available on the Samsung S3500 and additional ones can be created if needed. when u connect other phones through bluetooth it ask for a passcode....it really enhance ur phone secutity bcoz of this ur phone can not be hack through any hacking tool.
another awesome feature is when you connect through Bluetooth to any other device you can take a control of that phone as all files and folders of other connected phone are displayed on S3500. You can take whichever files you want without bothering other person.
"Fm recording" n the best part is the audio quality of recorded clip is shockingly loud n crystal clear n can save unlimited no. of stations.
"call recording"
crystal clear call recording n the other person on call will not hear any annoying beep.
"Fake Call function" this feature enables you to activate a bogus incoming call, so you can free yourself from awkward conversations or dodgy situations by pretending to take a call. For added authenticity, you can record your own or ur friends fake voice "call" that plays back when you answer.
"Menu transition effect"
if u seen latest aamir khan's samsung ad then u wud probably knw wat i m talking bout...wenever u press a button the screen slides from right to left....it looka awesome...u can also change ur transition effect.
"MOBILE TRACKER 2.0"
Mobile tracker automatically sends an SMS message to a pre-designated number alerting you when your phone’s SIM card is changed, increasing your chances of recovering a lost or stolen mobile phone.
"SOS FUNCTION"
in an emergency jus press either end of the volume key 4 times when the phone is closed. this will send the SOS message to ur selected recipients. if they call u back their call will be automatically connected. its definately a life saving feature.
"Message alert repetition": it will alert u in evry 2 min if there is an unread mes on ur phone....u can put it off too.
"keypad lights" automatically set according to day night usage or according to ur custom usage dont have to on or off it manually.
have all the features which only a music phone possess....n music player is shockingly loud n clear.

Awesome file management:
The functionality of the file browser is one of the best among non-smartphones. You can copy or move files - both one by one or in bulk, and you can create and delete new folders (save for the basic ones). Files can also be sent via Bluetooth one by one or multiple at once. Throughout the whole file manager, you can pick files you would like to lock to prevent accidental deletion. The whole file navigation thingy is really quick with no lags whatsoever.

first of all s3310 is jus another bar phone whereas s3500 is a premium brushed mettalic slide phone so its more stylish n goodlookin.
secondly s3500 screen is bigger than s3310
thirdly n the biggest diffrence in s3310 is u cant install games or 3rd party software through usb but u can install games n 3rd party softwares in s3500 with usb cable through ur pc so u dont need WAP for this.

I am planning to buy the samsung s3500. Yes i agree that it is the best buy in this price range. But the recently launched samsung s3310 which is very similar to the 3500 has a problem with bluetooth transfer it seems. files transfered through bluetooth end up in the phone memory. I was wondering if the 3500 has the same problem as it was launched alongside the 3310. Imagine the trouble one would have transferring 10 songs through bluetooth.
3500 users please reply quickly as I have to buy a phone soon. Also suggest if there is a SE alternative.

copy pastin earlier comment hint to increase battery life:
"-good thing is u got usb charging feature so jus connect it to ur PC while u r working n charge it....
- other things u can do to increase its bettery life are:
-jus decrease the brightness of the phone
-dont use the keypad light in day
this is a very good feature...n u dont have to keep ur keypad lights on n off everyday... u can jus set a time like from 5pm to 9am n it will off n on ur lights at the preset time everyday....try it.
-use melody instead of vibration + melody
-keep the keypad tone off etc
explore it u'll find lot more tips too
this will help u in increasing ur bettery backup..."
btw its not too delecate i m using it for the last 4 months even though i hav dropped it couples of time but it still looks brand new thanks to its premuim brushed mettalic body...

For normal usage including a little music and a few calls, the battery lasts only 1.5 days. So he has to charge it everyday...

my dear bro samsung phones are known for there smooth slide.... s3500 slide is perfect.... really smooth... its been 4 months n the best part is it is a premium brushed mettalic slide phone (i hate plastic slide phone)
