this is a very good phone in this range but a few common problems arise when using the same
1)image are not viewed in full screen
2)hanging while using opera
3)any file is not used directly from external memory for some application.

>This phone is quite good comparatively with other brands like sony ericcson and LG(i do not want to compare it with nokia) within the range.
>It has good display but do not persist a good wide viewing angle.
>Audio output is good.
>Phone recognizes the complete number when user dials a part of number, which other brands lack.
>We can add new themes only by creating rather than downloading themes from internet.
>Bad battery talk time.
>Not that user friendly as phone has navigation problem in browsing external memory. You just cant switch from one song to another song or image to image with some short cut key, rather user need to get back to the list and view/listen.
>Blue tooth transfer/receive is slow.
>Can add play list to overcome the above problem with songs but images or wallpapers no chance.
>While switching a song with in a users play-list is very slow while compared to All-tracks option.
>Cannot use mp3 songs as ring-tones and images as wallpapers unless and until they are copied on a phone memory.
>very bad thing about this phone is speed dial gets emptied whenever we reinsert the Sim. And by default the messages goes to Sim then we need to move it if we need to save it.

Sanjana, 12 Aug 2010My message memory always gets full. I dont like deleting me... moreyou can take backup your msg in ur memory card.open ur msg inbox & go option "more"and backup ur msg in memory card.

and dowload it to ur mobile.
If u want to hav mp4 high quality videos then use total video converter

HI I AM USING THIS PHONE SINCE 10 MONTHS. this phone is good comparing the cost. the main things which we can enjoy in this s picture clarity comparatively. nd music s awsome in headset bt poor in loudspeaker.poor battery packup.
WE GET LOT OF PROBLEMS BY BROWSING THROUGH OPERA MINI . IT JUST GET HANGING ND RESTART FOR EVERY 5 MINUTES. VRY POOR IN THS. i went 3times t customer care. headset,changn strip ,nd hanging..nw am facing my keypad problms.

after installing or copying from another cell or pc it does not open up how...??

abt this phone.. i think this is the best phone in this much of price... with the best output of the camera and audio...
i have this phone from last 8 months and till now i even dont et the problem like hanging... on the other if we take the nokia brand... hanging and memory card reading problems are the common...

I have got the phone in aug 2009.....I got many problems with in waranty period..inspite of my visits to customer care,they didn't check out my phone.they asked to give the serial number

I had bought this phone in June 2009. It was working perfectly except for a small problem. Sometimes it did not recognise the memory card. I had to switch off the phone and then switch it on to make it recognise the memory card. In July 2009, the keys stopped working. I had to take it to the Samsung authorised centre in Anna Nagar, Chennai. They traced it to the FPCB. I believe it stands for front panel circuit board. They were able to replace it in 2 days. Now it is working fine. However, while the FPCB replacement cost was Rs.135, the service charges were Rs.250 plus taxes. I wish samsung considered reducing the service charges to atleast Rs.150.
