i think u heard wrong s3500 is not ok its the BEST,
phone reception quality is better than nokia...., but i think it largely depends on ur service provider.

Hai GKB,
THe phone's reception quality is really good....
The operator logo is at the bottom, just above soft key buttons...So that it doesnot struck or hide your wallpaper...
There is also a option changing the style of CLOCK>>>>
Pretty good... or you can hide... In addition is a mini Clock(permenant) is at the right top corner...
And the display is 16M Colours,,,, THe wallpapers are lively to view....
And one more thing... nothing other else(clock, date, month, day, soft keys, operator logo ) doesnot struck your wallpaper....

i want to play mp4 files on my samsung s3500. but i cant convert them properly. the provided converter with new pc studio is not good. the videos converted have poor frame rate and play like slideshow on my phone. pls help. got a 8gb card and 3 dvds full of movie that i want to see. thanks. dedalus.desmo@Gmail.com

1) there is a lot of difference..... first of all looks..... s312 is again a boring bar phone wheras s3500 is a premium brushed stainless steal slide phone. thus in terms of looks s3500 is a sureshot winner
s312 has 256 thousand colours whereas s3500 has 1 crore 60 lakh colours, s312 sreen resolution is only 176*220 pixels whereas s3500 screen resolution is 240 x 320 pixels, screen of s3500 is also bigger 2.2 inch wheras s312's screen is only 2 inch, apart from this s312 is costly than s3500, in terms of music player also s3500 is a winner.
2) NO, its very easy to set mp3 songs as ur ringtones n ur pics as wallpaper
3) video recording is not limited, it depends upon ur mem. card
4) s3500 cam is awesome. n video rec. is also excellent n clear.

Need urgent genuine feedback on samsung 3500:
1. Is it better than SE s312?
2. Does it create probs in selecting MP3 songs as ringtones, or in selecting camera images as wallpapers?
3. IS the video recording limited in time duration or just by memory?
4. Is the image and video clarity better than SE312, despite the fact that that cell has LED flash, s3500 does not?
