i have a NOKIA so i am not aware of this JAR JAD thing but i think i must tell u RDS is NOT RECORDING it is an information related feature like 1 guy mentioned
{RDS is not that. Its called Radio Data System. You can receive the track playing now in your FM (if the FM station supports). In Chennai Suryan FM has RDS}
{silver is the only color because it is a metal i.e. STEEL no more questions unless u saw a different color}

oh by the way actally i comapared 5130 but by mistake i wrote it 5310. its actually 5130.
go for it dude i bet u'll never regret.
it is the BEST PHONE.
im using it for the last 4 months n i m more than happy with it :)

are yaar it is not a plastic slide phone it has premium brushed stainless steal design. its a metallic phone thats why its silver.
ok jus close ur eyes now tell me which colour come to ur mind when u hear the word STAINLESS STEEL.....

how to install GAMES & SOFTWARES...
first download "jad maker" (its a freeware jus google it) so that u can make a jad installer file and then download games of 240*320 resolution..each of the games should be lesser than 300 kb...convert the jar files into jad format wid the "jad maker"...after converting...u will get two files...one will be .jar and other will be .jad...put BOTH the files in ur memory card or in the phone memory's 'other files' folder...when u paste both the files in ur phone through ur samsung pc studio..a installer will appear on ur mobile screen...click 'yes' and the game will be installed....(as simple as that)

both the phones are great
if u are a die hard fan of nokia n want a simple bar phone than go for 5310. but if u want a stylish gud lookin slide phone than s3500 is the best.
s3500 got 1 crore 60 lakh colours wheras 5310 got 256 thousand colours, s3500 got bigger screen 2.2 inch wheras 5310 got 2 inch screen.
but the biggest problem with nokia (i knw coz i m using one) is its speed. n many of the time it hangs a lot i think this is the biggest weak point of 5310 jus read its opinion in gsmarena n u'l get to know.
whereas s3500 speed is really great n it never hangs.
both are expandable to 16 gb.
but as 5310 is a music phone its music player is great.
s3500 music player is also awesome. its really loud.
but if u talk about headphone than 5310 headphone is much better than s3500.
so if u want only a music phone than go for 5310 or u want a stylish, gud lookin all rounder phone having all the great features than go for s3500.

m looking forward to buy this cell...
but just for the last time...
i want to compare S3500 n Nokia 5130
as both r coming at almost same prices...
especially there sound quality in the headphones/earphones...
Also...
how much can v expand S3500...max memory size...??
is there any problem of restarting or hanging if too much of memory is consumed..?
So...can u all pls tell me regarding this..

even the price in stores like "hotspot" n "the mobile store" is around Rs 5800.
or just try any good mobile shop there the range would b Rs 5500 to Rs 5800. rest depend on ur bargaining skills ;)
i bought it for Rs 5600 in delhi.
and if im not wrong a person here bought it for Rs 5550 in noida.

the video format supported by this n most of the phones are :
3GP & MP4
if ur videos are not in these format than simply convert them into 3gp or mp4. u can easily find a suitable converter jus google it.
or u can download videos from sites like zedge.com n mobile9.com here the videos are already in these formats.
btw s3500 is fantabulous.

it look like far more costly than its price...
