to anonymous... well, as it says it is only 1.3 megapixel so dont expect too much from it.. if it is the camera, look for a touch screen digital camera..

Michael, 04 Jan 2010i got this phone last december 24 and it was awesome, bette... moreI don't disagree about the touch screen, but otherwise come on... you can't replace a Smart phone.
The reason for that is over a period you start getting bored with your phone and you start looking around for cool games / apps to spice up your device. And there a non Smart phone user has limited choice.
Ofcourse if you intend to change your phone at that time you are welcome but then I wouldn't call this phone kick-ass. I'd call it just a phase in your life. Nothing as something that changed your life for good.

i got this phone last december 24 and it was awesome, better than what i am confused with, the samsung corby plus.

                                things i found out:

-nice battery back up, 3 days of normal use, but i abuse my phone so it only stands about 1 day and a half, just plug it at night anyway.
                                -it has a nice dictionary.
-very good touch sensitivity with vibration feedback, but i turned it off for much more longer lasting batt.
-it takes pictures really fast even in low-lit scenes, but in exchange for its fastness, it processes or save the image taken quite slow.
-video recorder is good but the audio recorded is fair as the microphone is situated at the front side.
-speaker phone is loud but i missed the good ol' samsung phones where the earpiece and the loudspeaker are nested together. the sound output from its speakers are loud and clear but sounded muffled and weak when phone is placed flat on an even surface, the disadvantage of having the speaker placed at the rear.
-browsing pictures and videos is faster in the camera quickview menu than that of the gallery instead. i placed all my previous cellphone's picture in the my photos folder on the memory card so the in-camera gallery could read it.
-press the camera button, tap on the quickview menu at the lower right part of the screen, tap the image again to remove the side menu bars, press the up volume key, it changes the presentation of the images as 3 overlapped large thumbnails, press the up volume button again and the presentation of the images would be 9x9 thumbnails.
-texting is a breeze as the virtual keypad is very sensitive and large enough.
-no messaging shortcuts, none even on the widget bar. so you have to go through the menus, but i found out that it is faster to go to the write text message easier when at the idle screen, tap keypad, tap the more icon(middle menu), it pops up send message then tap on it.
-it has a nice gesture lock feature but the listed only-to-unlock menus and apps is quite limited. i used letter C to unlock only the phone but i found out that even a short straight up flick on the screen with my thumb does the job, even a diagonal line from the bottom right corner to the upper left corner of the screen.
-it has a fake call feature by pressing and holding down the down volume key while the screen is locked but lit up and an unknown call arrives in seconds but i can't seem to find any option to record fake voice messages.
-browsing the web is awesome, you simply just hsve to wait for it only got gprs and edge.
-i got the phone with a nice sound-cancelling, 2-part headset that is quite long. a manual and warranty card, 2 extra fashion jackets and another 1 with the phone, white and black with circular ridges and another white with circular colorful patters, no pouch, no USB cable and no CD for the software but that's ok, i can download it anyway, and i'd rather go for micro SD card readers rather than the long USB cable thingy. and i got the phone with a fitted screen protector but i refixed it myself and now suffering from seeing a bubble spec on one side of the screen.

all of these things are my own opinion and experience while i have the phone in hand till present.

so what if it doesn't have querty's and accelorometers and WiFi's?

what do you expect for the price you've paid for anyway.

this is a budget CAPACITIVE touchscreen phone meant for people who do not want to spend more and rather save or invest their money on some more impt. things, not like buying a so expensive, big and bulky and super sensitive, never-drop-it soap-looking, super-featured phone where the super features are nontheless being used only at minimum per day.

so for those people who ?HAVE? this kind of phone in hand, think before you post or your experiences may have to teach you otherwise.

i bought this phone for only Php7,200 (USD 150+) here at Baguio City, Philippines and got one of the best phones that a had.

cheers to all and happy three kings everyone.
