It only has a USER INTERFACE. Samsung's User Interface. Java Operating System? Wth. Anyway, the reason why some people say that Symbian is ugly/boring.. just look at its display/whatsoever.. its just the same right? The Menu is so Boring. Its just like a S40. If you try to compare iOS, Android, etc. by Symbian, design wise, they are better than Symbian. peace!

PLEASE TELL ME is this or phone can play APPLICATIONS and good GAMES like IPHONE or normal NOKIA Phones...
i know it can run java only, but can it run all java apps and games out there like nokia or its not that good?? ot gives loading errors?? thax in advance

No no They Have the s... moreoh cmon..do you have any idea about the operating systems...nokia perating systems(symbian)..are far better than yours samsungs old aged,cheap,low level java operating system..so it's better to have some knowledge before speaking.

I love my sumsung corby phone and am proud to be owning it, but of late, it had fallen down 4 me loosing the screen ink and now it has got no display on the screen. my quiz is this, do you guyz make spare parts for this phone coz i can't stand loosing ma 4 months new phone just because the screen can't display anything. otherwise i love sumsung phones and more so sumsung jet. keep up the good work sumsung company

Comeon guys, stop arguing.. Samsung Corby and Nokia 5233 are both nice phones.. Just let the readers here express their thoughts... And please don't bash any kind of phone... its a rule..

As I said before, Nokia 5233 and Samsung Corby is not a FAIR COMPARISON.
5233 is a SMARTPHONE. Corby Isn't. So stop comparing them.
Nokia 5250 and Samsung Corby is the correct comparison.
If you want to comapre your 5233, compare it to LG POP, Etc.
I KNOW THAT 5233 has BETTER FEATURES than this. No need to brag it.

Yes, corby has a better design than 5233..
And if you look closely... 5233 look more cheaper on its appearance.. Its very very obvious that the 5233 is made of cheap plastic.. but on the side of corby.. even though it is made of plastic too, it still looks expensive and stylish..
Yes your 5233 has a bigger screen... but its resistive. One thing i hate about resistve screens is that you have to "press" the screen so that it will work. i guess that must be press screen not touchscreen.
and if you compare the resistive and capacitive screen, the capacitive is made of GLASS while your resistive is made of plastic.
About the SYMBIAN OS.. come on.. every one knows that Symbian is Outdated. Symbian needs a major make over..
Actually... comparing 5233 to corby is not a fair comparison.
You must compare the corby to the Nokia 5250.. same specs, same colors, same price. Nokia copied Samsung Corby actually.. see for yourself.. peace!
