I had connected the phone to my laptop via Ad-hoc connection of vista/win7 via Wifi.
Now, how to transfer the content of phone/laptop to and from this wifi connection?
I had kies installed on my laptop , but it is not showing any device is connected although my phone is connected to my laptop(I am able to ping the ip address of phone).
Do i need to install any java app on my phone to share the files ?

Phone is not connecting through data cable / bluetooth. I have installed kies 2.1.When I connect it shows only connecting I wait more time but it doesn't connect.

I am able to connect the phone to my Laptop via wifi.(using Ad-hoc connection of Vista).
Now, Samsung Kies says - no device is connected.
Plz tell me how to transfer my files from and to the phone from laptop.
Is any Java App to be installed on Phone ?

AnonD-18166, 19 Dec 2011My Phone Software crashed when i installed the latest firmw... moreConnect to a PC where Kies is installed. It will detect firmware of the phone and update it. If corrupt, you can repair it through KIES in the PC. You would require USB data cable to connect to PC.

AnonD-32708, 14 Dec 2011ya i did but i cant get it...it shows an error msg reque... morei have had this phone for around a week... i gave up fancy apps.. whether or not to call it fancy ;) ... backed up contacts and did a master reset. Same as you I also got the same problem.. this phone really has some serious software/ firmware flaws !!! Hoping for an update but actually i feel this won't get any.. This phone has got an uncanny ability to frustrate.. It would be much better if they release an update either fixing installing apps/softz or just disable installing third party software installations... it would be much better than these restarts and crashes.

this phone has v good specifications (comparable to galaxy y) yet the people are not interested in it.its difficult to understand.

My Phone Software crashed when i installed the latest firmware in it. It stopped working and restarts frequently when i try to make it on. If any1 have solution then please provide or i will get it to the service centre.

samsung customer care is very poor.
We have to die for the softwares like pc suites etc.
I Bought this phone few days ago.
It's just a phone but not smart phone as they say.
Iam unable connect it with PC till now and no one in the world is able to help.
