I purchased Samsung Champ 3.5G last week after a thorough research and review on the net. It is quite surprising Samsung has launched such a phone at Rs. 5000 (which I paid)with so much working features. Video calling is superb - I tested on MTNL 3G network and internet speed in HSDPA is fast enough in the cell built-in browser. I installed the modem successfully in the first instance and PC net speed I got was average 460kbps in my room. Absolutely no hassles in any of the specified functions. There are so many cool and very pleasing applications installed in the phone. Display is extremely nice and fast on touch. Internal memory shown is 108MB. Battery life is not below expectations. I used it for net browsing for 2-3 hourse at a stretch. Overall a very nice phone in such price range. However I could not find how to use the back (main) camera during video calling.. any guess?? Also, the manual is not very detailed.. just a leaflet type. You have to look and search yourself for all fine details.. not easy for a common person without technical mind..

to activat... morei mistyped it 180mb it's 108mb.. i have 102 mb free..installed ucbrowser, vikrant chavan dictionaray... n 4 more..

i'm wonderin how to pair this phone! a nice manual is provided... does this have an accelerometer?.. also front camera is there.. got data cable n found memory is 180 mb (internal).. also there is camera in front.. god knows how to acess that r the accelerometer. Spotted wi-fi n bluetooth..well where to switch that on. Happy it works like breeze. The most annoying part_no qwerty pad on screen(till now)!! I desperately need a manual for this phone.

AnonD-33593, 10 Dec 2011please help me i am stuck to a problem when i download any ... moreEven i faced this problem after a few days of purchase,there might be firmware problem with some of the handsets...there is nothing we personally can do to rectify this problem.I just took it to the service center and they reinstalled the software in 5 min and problem solved!!!!

After four months of use of Micromax Q80 and one month of champ3.5G, I come to conclusion that Micromax Q80 is clear winner.Why?
1. Q80 has faster download speed in 3G and wi-fi.Q80 can download 10mb file in 3 or 4minutes while champ did the same data in 10 minutes.
2. Q80 can play highest resolution MP4 video but cham3.5G even failed to play the medium resolution MP4.
3.Hands free with Q80 is better than S3770.
4. active sync is difficult to configure.
5. Micromax ezmail (push mail) is superb.
My request to micromax please rebrand mobile in a better looking shape.

Hey Gsmarena... Dont give us false specifications pls. This phone has a secondary camera. And the internal memory is not 30mb it is 180mb. Please update your specificatons.
