Video calling is better than corby pro and nokia c5. Browsing speed is nice even in 2g speed but rocks in 3g. Downloads at a speed of 25-30 kbps in 2g and in 3g network i have downloaded 6 mb file in 10 seconds. Battery backup is above average.

But now i regret it a little. Nevertheless, it is also a great phone with some drawbacks. And i know i cannot find a full fledged perfect smartphone in just Rs.5000

thanks coolguy, now it is also confirmed by some other users that no doubt this is full featured gr8 phone but the main drawback is very small memory dedicated for apps which is very disappointed. this is not good for ppl who always doing things with apps & games like me...
this is the only reason i rejected this phone...now Samsung Ch@t 527 is almost same phone with qwerty keyboard no touch screen...anyone has Ch@t 527 plz tell can we install apps on SD cards ?
Cedar is gr8 phone but no wifi & front camera
last option in this price range is Micromax Q80

Sony ericsson cedar is a better option than this.
It got better functionality than even samsung corby 2.

Open os, you can change drivers like speaker, headset, camera, display, install flash menus, change icons into smartphone style like icons as in htc phones eg, desires' or xperia phones eg, arc, change softkeys and a lot else.
You can play .srt subtitles with videos

champ, 22 Oct 2011I want to buy this phone anyone know how this phone perform... moreIt has been 25 days since i bought this phone but yet unable to connect internet in my laptop with this phone. Bluetooth connection shows an error of ppp link protocol and i m not able to find tethering option in Samsung kies available on the net for cable connection.
i am disappointed with Samsung at this point. :(

pappu, 23 Oct 2011a samsung shopkeeper said that u can Install apps & gam... moreShopkeeper gave u wrong information. There is a dedicated memory of 8 mb where only you can install applications. No option to save apps in memory card is available in this phone.
