owning the first corby for 16 months, this looks like a good upgrade : headphone jack, slightly bigger screen, (apparently full keyboard, from pics), wi-fi, document viewer :)

I am quite surprised that you have not published any clips shot by this mobile.
Samsung launches lot of mobiles with different specs and across all categories. Still, some people are complaining why 2 mpx camera is in this model? (instead of a higher, say, 3.2 Mpx). Why don't these people realise that poor people from the society could not afford to get higher priced mobiles?

why do mobile companies such as samsung lauch such phones w/o having an upgrade of its camera.. as i have checked samsung use to have 2mp cams on most of its pphones.. i am a samsung user, i was looking at rthe new releases of samsung phones and still most of its phones are still at 2mp camera.. why dont they get an upgrade of their camera make it a bit higher or add a xenon/led flash on newly launch phones?

I think there is no much distinguishing difference between the first Corby and the recent Corby II, the think that they could have worked on and made better was to provide a better camera, even a 3.2 MP camera with an autofocus and a flash would have helped a great deal to create a new interest in this phone. Another thing is they could have provided the memory card support upto 32 GB instead of just 16 GB. Overall it seems that the company has only made minor cosmetic changes in the phone and no real changes or upgrades in terms of Hardware and specs. Also Android 2.2 or higher could have been awesome.

overall Poor resolution of screen and its build quality, outdated 2Mpix cam, no 3G AND NO OS (NOT EVEN BADA OS)

good there is vga video recording ,there is some improvement in processor not like vga...

i see.. if the first corby had a galaxy 5 in the smarthphone type in the second corby they had the galaxy mini as they smarthphone type its the same model different hardware n software.. but galaxy 5 had a steel round body n looks more luxury than corby.. but in this model i think corby 2 had the same material body with the galaxy mini.. still love the first corby model unfortunately its only had a 2,8" screen compare with corby 2 that already had a 3" screen

retina display? come on this is a low budget n compact cellphone.. besides that the retina display phone is still to expensive n big size to put it in your pocket.. i think.. :P
