"e" means EDGE
"h" means HSDPA
"H+" means HSPA Plus
...these are symbols for the type of internet signal connection your handset is detecting (if you are not using wi-fi)
so if you want to remove it, just DO NOT USE the mobile internet...and you can do that by going to the internet or network settings for your phone and TURN OFF THE DATA USAGE!
it'll be gone...hope that helps.
(I don't have this phone so I can't guide you step by step, but this is the usual set-up so it should be fixable by you...explore your phone friend :)

a very smartphone,i love itt but the lack of 3g somehow a dissapointment but its replace by the latest wifi tech,very suitable for young consumer as it has built in facebook n twitter :)also it has many themes n games to be downloaded n that mkes it better than galaxy mini
