can anyone tell me how to get wifi working j was trying to hook up over a friends house which had wifi but it would not let me in and my friend took the block off thank you.

hi, can any1 tell tht does this fone play the videos on youtube? i cant get thm played. and plz sme1 tell me how lock its 'gravity sensor'. i dnt want the screen to bcome keyboard when i am laying down :p

sourav, 18 Mar 2011is dere 3.5mm jack in dis fone?? how is the touchscreen i can rate the touch screen to be 7/10 compared to iphone3gs. its responsive, tru txting great response. well maybe it slows down when multiple application is running. and phone mem is full.

mohab, 24 May 2011i want to buy this fone but iam very confused between it an... moresamsung corby2 has capacitive touchscreen.which means very easy to response and very sensitive.unlike the star with resistive touchscreen.the 2 megapixel of corby2 is better than the 3.2megapixel of star.screen resolution of corby2's better.themes of bada os are applicable for corby2.ang fyi,the battery of corby lasts up to 4days when active use while star is only 2 days in active use.corby2 is a lot better than star :)

i want to buy this fone but iam very confused between it and the 3850 corby2 as star has qwerty keypad,hand writing recognition&come with elegant stylus pen and accelerometer sensor and speedy sensitive wifi with longer battery life as i heard from its owners.i find corby 2 isn't better than star5230w except for larger screen (3.2 vs 3.0 for star)-i think 0.2 inches more isn't a big difference-and 3.5 audio jack.
i want your advice as iam very confused and really need help.thanx for u all.

hey guys , i have strugel lot on wifi but to be frank its realy work very fast just do some settings . have a problem connecting to internet use this way it worked perfectly for me go to your browser then browser profile delete all the saved access points the phone will ask you to define a new one just click on the end button (the one at the right of the back button) now you are on the homescreen turn off the phone then turn it on search for wifi when you find your router click on connect do not edit any setting don't change anything and don't enter IP just find the Network Key box and enter the key (if exist) then click save if there is no network key just click connect and then save and leave the Network Key box blank this should work

bullshit phone...my sister has one. poor sister. she's struggling with that phone. she says, its not touchscreen, but a hitscreen...hihihi.

maria , 10 May 2011hi.i buy new samsung star wifi but internet not connecting!... moreLike other WiFi devices, sometimes you need to refresh wRouter, then you can connect again. I like using this for multimedia than my HTC Touch Viva.

This phone is worth the money. But OS and processor sucks. The phone is too slow while working with multiple apps. You cant type a msg properly when a song is playing. Camera will be good only with good lighting. I hardly roam around in hot sun. Camera is not serving me well.

mp3 is hard to manage, using wi/fi for checking emails is headache, since the wallpaper is divided in to the 3 screen display for some a sign photos to wallpaper is not good for most of the time.
phone design, camera, widget, screen and battery is so good.
