I think it posses very weak operating system.

Anony, 05 Sep 2012Hello , my Samsung s5230w can't connect thru mass storage p... moreGood day. Please check and try the following:
1.) Go to Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connections. There are 4 options, make sure that it's highlighted on "Ask on connection" or "Mass storage".
2.) It's also possible that you've a bad micro SD card. If you have an extra micro SD card that is in good condition, I suggest that you insert it to your phone and see if it will work on mass storage.
3.) If none of the above doesn't work, your last option is to buy a Memory Card Reader. It's cheap, it will only cost a dollar or so. Good luck!
