Farooq, I have the same phone and it does not need any IP to access Wi-Fi. Maybe check your internet connection or router?
This is a good phone by the way, my only gripe is the camera, no flash!

My phone needs IP address to log on for WIFI even other models of nokia and samsung doesnt ask to connect to Wifi.
Can some one help how to log on to wifi without adding the ip address

For me, the performance is okay! The touchwiz is 100% responsive. The browser is faster than others. I think I'm contented with this phone!
