If you have already done the above steps but nothing has worked to fix the problem, I suggest that you send back your phone if it's still under warranty or have it repaired.
(I have the same phone as yours, but I haven't encountered any problems with it for over a year. I didn't dare to install unofficial themes and I never drop it since the beginning of time.)

i have a problem with my S5230W star wifi phone.. whenever my inbox is empty if someone texted me her/his message will be recevied over and over again (the same message) .. like 50times.. it will turn back to normal if my inbox is almost full...please help..

I've been using this phone for around 1 and a half years. It's really really good. It's a little bit slow and enervating sometimes but it's still a great phone. The camera is not that bad. It has some problems with the low-light conditions, but it's usable anyways. Connecting to the wi-fi networks is pretty easy. Don't be disappointed when you use it for the first time, because you will need to get used to it and that's really important. One thing that i don't like on this phone is the back cover which may just fall after around 6 months of use. So i've got a case for it. The speaker is great. The touchscreen keyboard is absolutely fascinating, I like it, a lot. The phone may be very very slow when scrolling through images. And the pre-installed web browser is not perfect for loading standard Desktop sites, so i recommend the UC-Browser 8. The fact that it supports the YouTube player is making me happy also. The video and the audio quality are acceptable. The durability of this phone is pretty good more-over you own a case for it. But if you don't, when the phone will fall down, the battery will fly out and it's not good at all. The signal strength is not that bad, but it depends on your carrier. The Memory card is place in an uncomfortable position. Before you can remove it you need to take the battery out. And that is just a waste of time. Facebook Chat is also supported by downloading the Ebuddy app from "getjar.com". Skype texting is also supported by this phone. You can download it also from "getjar.com". All the apps that request internet connectivity can run using a wi-fi connection. So: it's small, slim, has a good screen, sometimes enervating but it's still great, useful so it means it'll be good for you.

flower, 08 Mar 2012how come this phone wifi pasword can't in more thn 10 digit??????you can choose encryption type "wep" and key length "128 bit" then you can use more then 10 digit password.
