Front camera is only activating during Video Call otherwise the mobile recognize a code no. by virtue of which we can only test whether the front camera is working properly or not. Otherwise there is no use of its front camera. We cannot take photo or record video using front VGA Camera.

this is important info. Any problem mail me-vishal.ghodake50@gmail.com connect your samsung s5350 and all to pc for net surfing . Connecting to Internet via 3G
GPRS using Windows Dial-up
connection
Your 3G GPRS phone can be connected to
Internet using Windows Dial-up
Connection without the need of
proprietary Samsung PC Studio, Nokia PC
Suite, etc. Moreover these softwares are
buggy and resource hungry.
The following steps will guide you to
configure your 3G GPRS phone to connect
the Internet using Windows Dial-up
Connection program. This is also
applicable to normal 2G GPRS phones.
First, ensure the following are OK
(positive).
1. Your GRPS phone can work as a
mobile modem.
2. Your internet / data / GPRS account is
active, and you can browse Internet on
your phone.
Second, connect your mobile phone to
your computer, and install the necessary
drivers.
Tip: If you travel a lot, or connect to
multiple computers, then it is
recommended to carry the driver in the
Memory card of your phone, and
remember to take the SD card adapter.
The next procedure is to add Modem
Initialization String
In the Control Panel, Select Phone and
Modem Options. (If you use Vista or
Windows 7 theme, then it will be Control
Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Phone
and Modems Options)
The Phone and Modems Options dialog
appears as shown in the figure below.
(You may need to enter your Phone
number to access this dialog screen for
the first time).
Select your mobile modem and click
Properties. The Mobile modem properties
dialog will appear as shows below.
In the General tab, as shown in the figure
above, click on Change Settings and
provide administrator or power user
credentials.
Then select the Advanced tab, and enter
the Extra initialization commands.
For BSNL 3G network, it shall be "AT
+CGDCONT=1,"IP","bsnlnet", Enter this
string and click on OK, and close the
modem properties.
In most cases, "AT
+CGDCONT=1,"IP","[AP Name]" string
would work, where [AP Name] is the AP
Name of your service provider. Please
check with your service provided for the
AP Name and configuration.
The next step is, to create a dial-up
connection using the mobile modem,
follow these steps
From the Control Panel, select Network
and Sharing Center -> Set up a connection
or network .
Depending upon the Windows version and
theme settings, you can configure this
using Control Panel -> Network and
Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -
> Set up a connection or network
The Set up a Connection or Network
dialog box appears as shown in the figure
below.
Choose Setup up a dial-up connection and
click Next
In the dialog screen for it prompts, Which
modem do you want to use? Select your
mobile modem. (Samsung Mobile modem,
in my case). Click Next
In the Type the information from your
ISP dialog box, type the dial-up number
as provided by your service provider.
BSNL uses *99# or *99***1# as dial-up
number. Click Connect.
Your mobile will now connect to Internet,
and enjoy browsing.
With my BSNL 3G connection in Chennai,
India, I get usually around 2 Mbps
connection speed to Internet (not just to
ISP end), and sometimes 3 Mbps.
To Disconnect subsequent connections,
right click on Dial-Up icon and select
Disconnect.
In any case, subsequent Connection and
Disconnection options can be made from
Control Panel -> Manage Network
Connections as shown in the figure below.
You can even create a Shortcut for the
Dial-Up icon to the desktop and access it.
Events that lead to this post - I had a hard
time connecting my new Samsung Metro
3G S5350 mobile phone using Samsung
New PC Studio software. I tried two
versions of the New PC Studio software
(One that came with the Mobile package
and the latest from their support site).
The Samsung Technical Support was really
incompetent and threw the ball into the
service provider’s court. Ah! Samsung
Technical Support .

I bought the phone Saturday 24/09/2011. Did my first ever video call tghe next day. The phone build is sturdy and solid. I can see the phone was designed to last for a long time. Response time for functions are good.
Phone also charges from usb cable.
Also picked up my ovi music for media transfere from your pc. Windows media player also have no problem with phone, either as mass storage or media player mode. The phone feels solid in the hand. The buttons are well defined in a row, but not as individuals. The screan is clear and bright as long as you look directly at it.
The normal price for this phone is currently R1300 in SA. If you look around you can pick it up for R400. For the US people it is $250 and i paid $52 for mine, brand new. I recon it is end off line. But a great phone in every way.
