this phone doesn't have multi-tasking but by pressing lock key it can be used up to sum extent.
face book,orkut,yahoo works perfectly.
cam is 5 pixl. very nice though..
sound quality is fine will not disappoint you.
no themes but 3 screen wallpaper is cool. can create our own.
dictionary is very handy.
plus point is 3.5 mm jack it can connect to my car.

      dude .. i dunno ur name ... this is DANISH... lg phone which u said is 11,000 in chennai ... so it costlier than my phone ...monte is good but it doesn't have flash
      .....so ultimately this was my choice...

        WiFi took me little time to configure it with WEP. The phone in summary is very good and looks cool too in white color. A easy to carry with, BEST phone in this price.

        Here is my experience with it ...

        - Youtube don't work, nor any other flash !
        - Its hard to switch between the applications, even with the lock button functionality. There must be some other method !
        - Heavy sites (more contents, like games) sometimes crashes or hangs the built in browser. (may be due to lack of memory available)
        - Very few audio and video formats supported.
        - No good support for Office documents, also the interface to read any document (including PDF) is very clumsy (not easy to use).
        - Games are not good, except the bubble one.

        ---

        - Facebook (without videos), gmail, yahoomail, hotmail, etc all works without issue.
        - I have also used SSL VPN from this phone which worked perfectly fine.
        - Java support is fine.

        I wonder how can I use some VoIP software using its WiFi as a carrier to talk via internet.

        Can someone point a URL where I can find its firmware updates ???

          Marvel does'nt hv any OS,if it has then we can easily change the theme of this fone coz lots of Symbian themes are available on the net, we can't install any application viz .sis file ,we can only install .jar files...........

              well u hv asked for a better phone, here it is "SAMSUNG MONTE" AND "LG GT505" WITH 3G,WI-FI , video calling camera & Capacitive touch screen with latest TouchWiz interface plus all the features of Samsung Marvel except 5mp camera in monte, at only 8.8K and 9.5 K respectively.................

                  yes the samsung s5560 has facebook app. in it...u dont need to download...i got this and its almost a year and its AWSOME....luv it...its lyk the corby but BETTER!! :)

                        this is to the guy who said "bakwaas hain" which means "crap" to this phone ... tell me the other phones which ull get in this range with touch, 5 mp camera, and wi-fi and its not 10,000 its just 9200 in chennai......so get it .. this phon rocks for me .... luvin it ....music is not that good in speakers but u hav awesome ear phones for that...

                                go to 'Settings'

                                choose 'Reset Settings'

                                Tick the 'Phone Settings' option

                                TO ACTIVATE WIFI


                                the phone will tell you its going to reboot.

                                After reboot........turn your WIFI on and put in your WEP password!!

                                JOB DONE.......
