archer, 20 Apr 2010oh i see. that's kinda limited considering that my SE p990 ... morei have around 200+ messages and no, it doesn't get slower. loading up messages or the inbox folder is still very zippy.

Looks like no one as an answer for my question.....
this is the second time i am posting my question.
Guys need help....when you are on a call, just imagine you get a SMS, how do you view the SMS without disconnecting the call? I have checked every possibe option ..but it doesnt seem to work ????
Any help would be highly appreciated....

xx, 18 Apr 2010500 text messages, i believe on your phone memory. inbox me... moreoh i see. that's kinda limited considering that my SE p990 can store 1000+ messages which compose all folders. For example if samsung marvel reaches nearly 500 messages, will it become slower?

this is a really good phone for its price.
the good:
-camera. it's really good compared to others out there. not the best indoors or in poor lighting conditions but that is to be expected.
-touchwiz. very easy to use. the screen is resistive, yes, but the interface is very finger friendly. no stylus included probably because it's not necessary.
-size. it's quite thin and light, but because the back is a matte finish, it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.
-text input. the qwerty landscape keypad is really easy to get used to and the alphanumeric portrait keypad is very responsive.
-3.5mm headphone jack. i can connect my decent headphones for decent sound quality.
-wifi. the internet browser is good. wifi internet browsing and a good 5mp camera w/ flash at this price point makes this a winner.
the bad:
-camera placement. it makes it very easy to touch the camera lens when typing qwerty. i wish it were placed nearer to the edges instead of the center.
-non-smartphone. actually i was choosing between this and the slightly more expensive i5700 galaxy spica, which runs android. i chose this because of better cam. i'd choose the marvel over any symbian touchscreen phone right now, though.
-background music player. when music is playing in the background, the phone becomes noticeably slower, even if i'm just trying to type a text message.
-limited themes. i wish it had more themes available, maybe for download.
-no microSD card included. surprisingly, it includes the microUSB cable here in the Philippines. microSD cards are really cheap now, though. i bought an 8GB SDHC and it works great.
it's a really good featurephone, which unfortunately doesn't make it a smartphone. if wifi and a good camera are all you really need though, you'll be contented with this.

Im 12 and i just bought this phone about 2 days ago and it's amazing. fab camera and really good touch screen. i dont think you can get such a good touch screen phone for such a good price. :))

1 just bought it yesturday........ FAbls,fantastic and awsome phone on the current price.5mp camera and wifi..........BUT the worse thing is the battery it goes down very quickly...
