In the philippines it costs 12,500 pesos. Samsung has a special promo at Trinoma till February 12, 2010. The phone is very much like the Samsung Star Wifi (which I also have) except it has different looks and camera, the design of the main menu of star wifi is better though. But I am wondering that for some reason, the designers didn't include a stylus.

this fone is great...! i think there's nothing to do with the fone when the wifi disconnects..its the wifi connection itself and not the fone!

I bought the phone and I have some issues:
1.The call quality is below average. Sometimes its very hard to hear the person you are calling.
2.The Wi-Fi is very bad. I have connection issues like sudden disconnects or not being able to connect at all.
3.You can't install applications larger than 1 MB.
4.The 3 home screens you have are not actually separate. They are 1 picture split into 3. And multi-tasking is a problem.
5.When you remove or add widgets, all your widgets that you have currently are reset and disappear.
The good things I can say are:
1.The phone is made from good quality materials.
2.The Samsung OS is easy and relaxing to use.

The photo contacts only shows contacts that you have actually contacted via voice call, or text. The more you contact them the higher up the list they go. If you clear your call log then your photo contacts will also be cleared.
Must agree about the user manual though. It is naff.

To see a doc from an email you have to retrieve it to your phone first. Also, there is an open source announcement regarding WebKit already on the phone when you get it (in 'Other Files' under 'My files') that's a pdf and that is opened using the doc viewer. I assume therefore that the answer to your question is yes you can save files to your phone and view them. I've not tried it myself yet though.
