- I thought that all new phones provide visual feedback (i.e. blinking of the light) for lost calls. I see I was wrong. I don't understand why manufacturers don't add this feature, since it is very useful (you can see that you have lost a call even if the phone is on a table at 5 metres from you). And blinking the light for 0.1 sec. every 3 sec. doesn't eat too much batery.
- You are right, I meant "brightness" instead of "contrast", luckily you saw my mistake. Good to have manual setting for brightness.
- Sad to see there is no smart-dialing. It is another thing that I don't understand. Since all phones have got a "search" option in their contact list, it would be easy to add the already implemented "search" option when typing in the main screen. The only difference would be that the search would start automatically when the user presses a key in the main screen. It is trivial to implement.
Samsung, pass me the source code of the operating system, and I will implement those enhancements ;-)

The worst thing about this phone is it does not support games or very few games u can play on it.
So if u r game lover just don't go for it(very bad phone for games and application).
No application no games it will support nothing
u cant find song in list by just typing its first few letters as other phones have. in this u have to go through up and down key to reach that song
it does'not have a media player u can only play songs but if u want to play video go to that particular location where video is stored then play it no direct access through media player of videos

If you mean you can't install some apps, then its okay
Many apps are not compatible with Samsung propirtry OS.

PROBLEM:
If I put an alarm for the next 10 15 minutes or so, or even a couple of hours, it works fine.
BUT if I put an alarm overnight, for the next morning, the alarm doesnt rings..... I think the phone hibernates or something. I checked this thoroughly, for 4 nights. Alarm doesnt ring in the morning.
Also I tried the Auto Power-up option. Did both Activcate and DeActivate, but still the same behavior. DID Anyone else face this problem.
PLEASE REPLY. URGENT QUERY.

I just noticed that the zoom works on the camera if you lower the resolution to 3.2mp and below.

Playlister, 20 May 2012I finnally worked out how to make playlists :D .. all you g... moreMaybe I'll try your way. I downloaded the java version of Nagesh Player and I have no problem selecting mp3s inside the folder. The problem is, it can't run on the background, so I have to quit it first. Unlike the system music player it can run on the background while I'm texting or playing games at the same time.

AnonD-54717, 15 May 2012I am going to write some other aspects of the phone which I... moreI finnally worked out how to make playlists :D .. all you got to do is to put your playlist into samsung kies and then select all the songs and right click, click properties and change every single songs album name to whatevere you want.. now simply go under albums and there you'll have your playlist :) hope it helped cheers
