Hello! I have this phone since it was released way back 2010 and i charged it using my s7 charger and viola i am using it now. I guess the quality plus how you take care of your things will make it last. Hooray to 10 years with my samsung monte iron man. ❤️❤️❤️

I have bought this model used, and use it for two years since 2017. It bothers me with some problems, main of which are SIM electric contacts (need hand adjusting SIM to make contacts proper) and speaker (often turns off without any reason visible). In all other it is a great phone, fast, reliable, and easy-to-use device.

Used to have this phone in 2011-2012. It was great. When I decided to take a look at it few weeks ago, it still does a great job. Plays YouTube to my surprise, connects to Wi-Fi without any problems. Although Android took over almost all smartphones, it's still usable. The only problem is Samsung closed their WAP service this phone links to to download music, photos etc.

I was in year 11 at the time so couldn't afford it. Finally got it in 2012 which my uncle gave to me. Had it for a few months then lost it on the bus :/

does anyone know why is the speed of the internet only 16-25KB/sec over 3G and is it possible to make it higher somehow?
i'm using the Kies 1.5.3 software tethering option, but i guess it has the same speed via its own browser (unless someone knows a good speed test page that would work with its own browser)
