Mine fell in the swimming pool twice in two years. 1st time it was in perfect condition after drying it with a towel. The 2nd time it was submerged for two minutes. I disassembled it completely (small screwdrivers required), left it for two days, reassembled on it worked. It is still fine after three months.

Im a builder. Really good on site. Dropped so many times as high as 3m drop and sceen still sweet. Does all the stuff I need ,youtube,facebook,google etc. im not a phone nerd so im happy with it.Had mine 2 years.

If you need the phone because you drop it often, work in a humid or dusty environmeant. Get it. It is built for that and it works. Somewhat heavy, but I really could not destroy mine sofar

I should have listened to the other comments: this phone is unusable as a smartphone. Only useful for the basic functions, too slow and cumbersome for anything else. Too bad, cause it is a great concept and I will certainly look into getting the Xcover 2, but this device is underpowered. I you are the type of person that gets annoyed at slow computers, don't get this phone.

this is the worst phone ever...you cant unstall too much app....battery dies quickly, cant text very well...music hud nd polaris office cant open...wat kind of phone did samsung made...i hate xcover

Need assistance on this Samsung S5690. I just receive my new phone from my cousin yesterday and have charged it however the phone often not response and off by itself. Is it a battery or otherwise?
