i post a question that i can't figure out but i have got any answers yet.
so mr. genius, please solve my problems.
and i have few more question.
1. can i use some GPS software, that i can download the map into my phone completely (not like google map) because i don't have internet connection for my phone except wifi which is very rare in my place. (i've check route 66 but it don't have the map for my place.)
2. any motion function on my phone (turn to mute, motion gate, speaker call, etiquette pause and all motion function in my media player) are not working. i've turn them on in the setting >> motion settings but nothing happen. i try on the motion tutorial in the Games section and it tell me "Great, excellent, ... " so give me some opinion to enable them. or do i need to press some button in this motion action.

if i were u try to flash the old version of your firm ware to S8003DX(Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam) I=(means 2009) while the other I=(means month)2=(version) thats the latest firm ware so far...but take note if your jet still have a warranty try to update it to the dealer were u bought it...otherwise if you flash it by yourself i think the warranty will be void...its already a week when i got my jet and its working perfectly(videos,music etc....My only concern is the battery life even i configure it to the lowest settings still battery drain to fast or maybe i had a faulty battery issued on me by the main dealer of samsung

abad, 14 Jan 2010first you install route66 on your pc, then create your acco... morei installed route66 on my laptop and then connected my phone in mass storage now when i click to create account it says no device is connected and on phone(if not connected) i press navigation it says there is no memory card. can u please help

got this phone 5 days ago.
overall : satisfied (i'll post a longer review later)
my firmware is s8003DXIE3
i can browse wifi
install java
watch youtube
battery life ok
but i have some more questions
1. in camera, when i press the play buttom on the right bottom of the screen, the phone don't show the pic i recently taken but it show the photo in my memory card (not the picture picture taken but i uploaded with my pc), so how to solve this one to show the taken pic only.
2. in music player, it play all the music tracks including the ringtones which i placed in the ringtone folder (so can i create a separate folder for ringtones that they will not be played in music player)
3. i found the java games but when i start the games, they got the virtual key (direction and softkeys) on the bottom of the screen. so how to remove them or where can i get full touch games.
4. i can' delete the gadgets so i can't install new gadget (so how to remove the gadgets)

yes, a very important point, this phone uses its own, proprietary OS! you cannot use any apps winmo/android/apple etc.

i bought it already. i was really happy when i hv it at the first time. after couple weeks, i got boring with it. cannot install more application, hv alot of bugs with the firmware, cannot use rss feed, sometime it restart/hang during receive call, no song search for music player, bad web browser, no cut and paste...etc
i'm so regret with this phone.... i think samsung not very good with their software/firmware development if compare to nokia, SE. need learn from them.

horrible to the core, camera was good, but no theme change,no software download, back up service is very bad, internet hangs, do not buy it.i live to regret it, samsung horrible

they use their own OS. i dont think can install skype or fring on jet(correct me if i mistake). you can install java app only.

crap phone had fr 2 and half months and the software had issues the bluetooth stopped working and when ever i had to share a file via bluetooth it kept giving the same error sending failed or connection failed. returned the set to the retailer and its been over a week the company ppl under whose warranty samsung jet is say they have software issues.bloody hell why do they sell there shit when the no it has problems and yet investing millions of dollars on research shame on SAMSUNG am very dissapointed.
