i just buy this phone
because it supports divx/xvid format!
you dont need to convert it to any video
format_ just grab the file and that's it!
you can fully view whatever videos you have
uploaded_
there's no such bugs or any problems
with it! i think your phone has a factory defect?!?!
better change the unit! it still in warranty!!!
love installing games and apps!!!

Samsung jet 8000 is d complete phone with almost all the features dat a smart phone should hav. Excelent camera ,superb speed , abv avg musiq quality , outstanding display clarity. . .

Another problem with the Jet. The specs and everyone says it supports push email. How do you set it up? Do you really have to go to 4 different places in the phone to set it up? I already have my yahoo plus email account set and I can download messages to my phone. How do you tell the phone to push??? I did the push settings in the Email messages but nothing happens. I am guessing I have to do something with Activesync. When I do that, then there is also a connection issue. What is going on? I can become a rocket scientist faster than I can learn to use this phone.

Buy HTC, windows phones, sumbian phones if you want more out of a phone."
Some people only want simple phones,my omniaII e.g crashes at least once a day. HTC magic has 1 day only battery. iphone no warranty if jailbroken. Cant have all. If you want games GPSapps yes get an OS phone. If want less and stable get Samsung, LG like Jet,Arena etc.

i don't want thousands , i want just 10 games !!
i mean 10 original games designed for 800*480 screen, not the silly games which are 320*240 resolution or less, and have been modified to fit Jet's screen !!
by the way.. don't u have the oily spot in the middle of your jet's screen .. it's almost in every jet phone, some days ago i was in carrefour and i checked the show unit.. it also had an obvious patch in the middle .

I bought JET8003 in snow white color 5 days ago.Nice looking.I downloaded many games from Mobile9.com but all of them couldnt open!(jar files) Does any1 know some websites for free games?

Saf, 15 Dec 2009what do you mean you tube problem? I want to get this phone..I have bought this phone and it will arrive until Friday.
Im excited to test many functions. Youtube is of course working on the Jet but the video codec is set down by the manufacturers to achieve higher download speeds.
So u will have less youtube video resolutions! The rewired performance is eneugh for these videos but the memory of the device could get problems that why they have done this.
I will post some experience in the next days !

Bought this phone two weeks back. The firmware version of my phone is S8000XXIG1 (Very stable and without any bugs). I have not faced any major problem with the phone. I was able to solve minor configuration problems like GPS Navigation, Exchange Active-Sync, PDF Viewing, Doc Viewing etc. All the features in my phone are in working condition now including Navigation, Internet, FM Radio, Blue Tooth, WiFi, etc. Camera is Superb, Video recording is Excellent. Find Music, Dynamic Canvas, Smart Unlock, Accelerometer, Motion Sensor, Etiquette Pause, Motion Gate 3D, Speaker Call, all great features built into this extra-ordinary device with super clear display.
Built-in Games are limited but allows you to download any j2me based games thousands of which are available on the net for free.

i think ill get nokia 5530 than this, firmware is garbage expensive phone but not a smartphone at all..and so many issue omg...its not a smartphone so it should have less issue than a real smartphone..

Jet easy? yea right, 15 Dec 2009Zeff, good to hear you are satisfied cauze so many of us ar... moreIf you want to only make calls, send messages, use the multimedia, basic browsing, etc, and you have 300 euro to spend, then buy it.
If you want to do any more functions such as navigation, email setup, advanced browsing, downloading java apps (which are so few and suck in any case), keeping up to date with new firmwares, or you are a businessman, then DO NOT BUY THE JET.
The jet is NOT similar to HTC, iphone, or any other smartphone (and I am not only referring to apps)in any way, form or shape. It has good camera, good video, good screen and the illusion of a modern "wired" and business phone.
Read a few pages back in this post and you will understand.
You will get psychological problems and other anxiety related illnesses before you can set this phone to work properly.
Dont buy it
Buy HTC, windows phones, sumbian phones if you want more out of a phone.
