which is best?
- lg km900 - lg kc910 - samsung s8000 jet ?
i heard that the processor in the lg's is an arm9 processor which is old and slow. I just love the faster processor in the jet but i heard it comes with alot of software problems? is it true?

This is a very good phone for the reason that it comes with a high speed (800 MHz) processor and Amoled Display. The phone is advanced with lot of new features. The Phonebook comes with an easy access mechanism some thing like the one in Nokia 5800 wherein the user is provided with the list of contacts starting with the key which is pressed. In 2-3 clicks we are able to get the indented contact in jet. Another issue with the 5800 is that, for instance we were in the middle of writing an SMS and without completing it we had locked the phone. The next time when an incoming call comes in, the screen turns on and just shows the Message Screen instead of showing the incoming number. The real issue is that we need to spend sometime in taking the phone out of the pouch that comes along with the box and then if we need to see the caller detail, we have to unlock and then come out of the Message screen. By this the time call would have probably cut!
So for God sake don't buy the very problematic and buggy 5800 and take the Jet!!!

This is a very good phone for the reason that it comes with a high speed (800 MHz) processor and Amoled Display. Though the phone is advanced with lot of new features, it lacks behind in the usability front. The Phonebook is a bit difficult to operate. It doesn't come with a easy access mechanism some thing like the one in Nokia 5800 wherein the user is provided with the list of contacts starting with the key which is pressed. In 2-3 clicks we are able to get the indented contact in Nokia 5300. In jet it is too difficult as we need to use both hands together. Another issue with this phone is that, for instance we were in the middle of writing an SMS and without completing it we had locked the phone.

Another major problem with the phone is the pouch that Samsung gives along with the box. It doesn't contain an transparent area so that we can see the caller detail and then decide whether to Accept or Reject the call. We mostly need to use both the hands, therefore becomes very difficult if we are driving or having food.

This phone also has an issue while Migrating from your old phone. The PC suite application doesn't support your old Samsung phones. Also while transferring it, the first name and last name gets interchanged.

Also, the talk time (of 8 hrs) assured by the manufacturer is not true. We just get the same battery backup which we used to get from any good phones in markets even 1.5 years before.

Anyway these are the minor issues with this great phone. Hope samsung takes care of it in its next version.

The Jet thanks to its 800x480 and Amoled screen is absolutly awesome for Divx playback,I have encoded a movie in 1200vb/s 720x480 and it's like watching a bluray movie :)

                                      Hi everyone!
I could use some thoughts from the owners. I'm planning to buy a touchscreen phone with closed type OS and Wi-Fi, and since thw newest generation of DivX Mobile certified handsets arrived, I'm thrilled to get one. Best possible AVI playback became my decisive feature, because I travel a lot every day, and I don't have time for conversions. According to tests and some opinions, this phone is (allegedly) unbeatable at playing those files because of the vast number of codecs/bitrates/resolutions it supports.
So, in your opinion, how reliable is the DivX/XviD playback support of this phone? I mean is the phone capable of playing the most common size (near VGA) and bitrate (~1000kbps) AVIs?
Thank you for your answers in advance..
