Dany, 28 Aug 2009i bought an s8000 jet, and i live in US. but it dosent supp... more3g and 2g use the same technology but 3g is just faster download speeds. make sure your network supports 3g. failing that you have the option of wifi in a hotspot.

i bought an s8000 jet, and i live in US. but it dosent supports 3G. and i was wondering what is the difference betwwen 3G and 2G? can somebody tell me.

Hi I'm just wondering if someone can help me. I recently got a Samsung S8000 Jet and am having trouble getting sound on the videos when I upload them on my Macbook. I can record video on my phone and it plays back with sound but when I play them back on my video player ( I use MPlayer OSX), there's video but no audio... I'm just wondering if I'm missing a codec or something, or if there's a better video player out there for Mac. Thank you.
Any comments and suggestions will help greatly.

The 8910 costs nearly twice that of Samsung Jet.
So u cant expect jet to have features of the much costlier 8910. Samsung jet is value for money if u see what features it offers for the a price of 400 US$.

And omnia hd is not newly launched its launched in may,while jet is launched in july! And omnia hd is biiig ugly phone,who needs hd recording in phone??

Samsung jet is not on trend nowadays. the newly launched samsung i8910 is a freak. the colours, camera, display size, and speaker is awesum. it seriously kick jet out of the industry.

I live in iran & i have a s8000jet . there is no navigation aplication on my phone menew. all brands of mobilephons can use gps but this one! i am realy disapointed.

The phone will dial automatically when you pull the headphone plug out a little while the phone is locked.
On the other hand, can your JET read jpeg files? Mine can't ready 480x800 jpg files. If I want to set it as wallpaper, I need to change it to BMP file. It's really strange as this is the first time I see a phone that can't read jpeg files. Please tell me whether you are the same. Thank you.

Correct, you cannot recorder phone calls with voice recorder, it wont even let you multitask it! But today we went to store and found out that KM900 from LG CAN record phone conversations!!
