A few queries before i purchase this phone.
1. Does this phone have call conversation recording facility?
2. Does it have tv out facility?
3. Can it play all Divx / Xvid files likr LG KC 910 renoir ( as mentioned by gsm arena in renoir review)
4.what is limit of "task" / "to do notes" and "calender entries" ?
5.How is the camera performance indoors?

SLOW!
Lousy software!
Not well designed and buggy.
Samsung try to fix it with hardware muscle but still lousy.
Samsung Omnia HD is great!

Notice ppl from different region post question here. It would be better to include your current region location/country to avoid confusion over software/firmware issue. Different region have different firmware. ~I am from singapore

aaa, 19 Aug 2009so far I downloaded 4 java games, ffg the steps that I post... moreI know one person who installed opera mini 4.2 on it and it works no problems.
I dont know where to go for this, just that it is possible!!

so far I downloaded 4 java games, ffg the steps that I posted and the games are working fine. maybe i spoke too soon. will try to download some games later and i will post the results. btw, i used the new pc studio to transfer the files, i don't know if it made a difference.
regarding my Opera question, can i install it?

Can I install the opera browser?
About java games, kindly visit the site at emobilez.com and download the zip files. Jet is not listed, select Omnia or Omnia 2. Download and extract the zip file and then transfer the .jad and .jar files in the phone. Install the game from there, using the phone. hope this helps. enjoy..

got the samsung jet for 2 weeks now and i am very pleased with it.. speed, features and everything else.. phone calls are very clear.. it's speed is amazing, i compared it to my brothers iphone, we opened several websites together and it beat the iphone in all sites we tested.. good camera but you have to manually correct the exposure with each shot..
only thing i didn't appreciate is why samsung locked the memory on messaging.. i cannot allocate other memory or even my memory card for my text messages.. i cannot adjust how many text messages i can keep in storage, i have to constantly erase messages when it reaches 200 in inbox..
but other than that, it's a really good phone..

Hi..
Got a Samsung Jet S8003 the other day.. was fine when I was going through the features... then I decided to download the network settings through the Samsung site..'Big' mistake... now my phones all crazy, buttons don't work at all, the touch UI is behaving really really stupid.. Have reset factory setting a zillion times now (my contact still remain though..weird!!)
Can someone help me please???

I had really hoped this phone was what I wanted, and to most extents it is.
Unfortunately the T-mobile firmware means that the motion functions don't work and T-mobile don't really recognise it as a problem yet as they haven't had many comments.
