The S8000 in an EXCELLENT phone. I have been a lifelone Nokia user but this Samsung knocks spots off anything that the Finns have produced. My wife and son have both got Toccos and are SOOOO jealous of my Jet. It is just so SLICK. The Feel. The Looks. The Touch. The Sounds. The Imaging. The WORKS. BEST BUY. Recommended A++.

I have the phone for almost 2 weeks now, everything works fine, but the plastic cover is really easy to scrach.

does it have any screen touch problem mobile.do we have to switch off the mobile before changing the memory card and the most important does it support different software.

1.can the shutter sound switched off(in capturing)
2.when you are in call can you have call records during your call.

i wish goggle maps on the samsung jet had goggle street view :( its a very good fone does everything u want a fone 2 do ... if ur a business type of person then DONT get the jet its a feature fone not a business smartfone !!! but 4 the average joe public then i highly recommend the jet ... wot more do u want from a fone it ticks all the rite boxes ..... And the screen is stunningly gorgeous 2 look at and the best ive ever seen 2 date ... overall its a sexy lookin fone and must 4 any1 thinking of getting 1 9/10 ..

ive hav the samsung jet on t-mobile but can ANY1 tell me how 2 take off the t-mobile logo on the touch screen ????? ive ask t-mobile and they told they think u cant take it off ... like my previous fone the samsung tocco also on t-mobile u cud by sliding it into the widget bar menu ... its driving me nuts seeing my daughters pic on my home screen with t-mobile splattered on her forehead lol plz can any1 help ??? and is it pos 2 assign ur own music or ringtone 4 ur sms and mms and e-mail alert tones on the jet .. i can with incoming calls but wanna put in my OWN sms ect ringtones ... ANY1 HELP !!!!!!

I was told you an attach this to the phone' tag :) .. thanks ...

Guyz, I have few queries for S8003:
- Is there any way to save the smses directly to phone memory or MMC??
- Copy Paste Option is missing or do I need to install any application??
- I am setting special msg tone for my best frend & the phone is playing the default tone only... Another bug on my phone??
Guyz, Pls help if you have any solution for it!!

had this phone for about 2 weeks now and find out the following shortcomings:
1. Limited characters (15) for Memo title
2. Limited characters in Memo app
3. Cannot input birthdays into calendar app. You need to create a contact and put the bday details in it.
Battery lasts for about 3 days if you manually select the network provider and about 2 days if you set it to auto.
Im just a moderate user who spends about 1 hour for calls and 30 minutes for SMS and about 1 hour for videos per day.
Hopefully there will be more applications specifically for this phone.

the design of S8000 jet alike omnia II. But size is matter for touch screen. I would buy it if the size was same like Omnia II.
iPhone has perfect size for touch screen.

My phone is S8003. Is it different from S8000?
2nd Question: How do I install JAVA games in this phone. It seems that the only way to install is through WAP. Is there a crack or free full version of a game where I can download and install. I tried to install it but don't know how to install the .jad and .jar files.

Why you need to enter the codes? Just save the jar files in any folders. Go to the folder and click it. It will prompt you to install. It's very simple.

I bought this mobile 2 days ago.
its simply outstanding. Size and shape is excellent.
Camera is excellent with many options.
there are so many things to see that you need days to find out
