So it's not possible to install msn/windows live messenger on the jet? I need reply from USERS of this phone...

i own an N82 and i like being able to install a lot of aplications. i know i cant install almost anything on the jet, but since it already has a lot of features, i´m not worried..my only concern is about the GPS. I use garmin software on my phone and just love it. very useful aplication. On the jet it seems like i cant install any gps software..I mean a software that doesnt need to connect to my operator and use data like google maps does...its too expensive..so, is there a gps software that i can install on the jet?? NOt GOOGLE MAPS..

I'm planning to buy this phone, but wanted to know a couple things:
In the call log, does it show the duration of each call made/received?
Can I plug a 3.5mm earphone directly to the handset, or do I have to connect it to the remote's jack?

Hi. I'm interested buying this phone. PLEASE, i need some opinions from people who already have this phone. PROS and CONS about it. And i have a few questions: can we assign new sms ringtones other than preinstaled ones? I have Nokia N82 black, is it worth to change for Samsung Jet? PLEASE don't disregard my post. It's a great mobile! I have it 3 days now and it's impressiv. Jet is very easy to use, very handy (not likte the iphone) and has a lot of good features.

Does the jet come with a stylus pen ??? can you even use a stylus pen on it???? and if u can could u give me a stylus brand name that wouldn't harm the touchscreen thats if it doesn't come with one thank you

Hi.. Can i know whether is there any contact image shown when we got the sms for Samsung Jet? is like we can see the image from the sms user when we got the sms on the front screen instead of "1 msg receive".. can anyone answer me? thanks so much....

You cannot install WINDOWS messenger, but since it supports java you should be able to install meebo or any other java instant messaging program ( I guess, I dont own this phone).

My country only sells S8003 Jet.
Does it allow me to install msn messenger? Have anyone done it before? This is very important for me.

in Cambodia has two Samsung S8000 and Samsung S8003.
but GSMArena, specific only S8000 Only , But manufactures has two similar,
are there difference .?
Anyone can be explanation .!

It's a luttle slower to load videoa but it does work. I must tell you however that the larger videos don't work due to the phone's memory (See review at is gsmarena and phonearena). Some people say the wifi is slow but it serves it's purpose, and if your like me and want to use your phone for occasional web use then this phone is more than enough.

I have only tried it with my private home wifi and it works pretty good (note however that the wifi indicator did not have full bars). Just imagine if I had full connectivity... In regards to your sublink question; out of the sites I have tried the sublinks work. Any site you want me to try in particular? As I have only got this phone, I'm not sure if it has msn messenger but I don't think it has it. Overall, I say in Canada (with no 3G capability for this phone) the wifi is good, probably on par with say iPod touch but with full HTML (so IMO it's slightly better). Hope this helps.
