warlock, 12 Aug 2009hi... can u please tell me whats the difference between jet... moreS8000 and S8003 are the same. Samsung uses different numbers in different regions. They are all called Jet all over the world.

hi guys! im planning to buy this one but i'd like to know if this has a pocket office? if the answer is negative, can i install the application (pocket office) instead? and im wondering if such app is available for this unit. thanks and may the good Lord bless you!

Documents viewer works fine in Jet. Just save the documents in the phone or TF card. You can go to that folder to open it. You can use one touch zoom. Once you zoom it, speed becomes slow.

Sound quality is good. Of course, if you use your own earbug, it is better than the original one and the loud speaker.

Just press and hold the center button to open the task manager. You can then switch to the application that you want or close it.

Hi guys, can anyone tell me about this phone, can this phone run multi task like symbian phones?
I use n5800xm and i play music, run web and Bolt browser, pdf and office all at the same time simultaneosly without distorting music player, i switch tasks and all works fine, so can anyone please be kind to tell me, can this samsung jet do multitask are not, thank you.

RSAESM, 11 Aug 2009I think i´ve got either a faulty one or you haven´t removed... moreUhmm... i did removed the plastic, but no change in the callvolume...i am wondering on which level you guys have the volume on during calling, so i can compare it with mine, if i dont hear anything or very less on that volume, than i maybe need a new one..

hey guys, does anyone own a Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 Stereo Bluetooth Headset? if yes, can you let me know how good is it? in terms of sound quality during calls and music, battery life, etc. tnx in adv.

I think i´ve got either a faulty one or you haven´t removed the plastic protection that comes on the screen.
If the first option is your case, you should get it replaced.

Hi,Dude...
well, i haven´t really document viewer yet but, i check the manual that came with the cellphone (it´s a document),and I´d say that´s pretty good,you can swip from one page to other,zoom in and zoom out,you have the option "GO TO " and you can also look for keywords.
So,so far I´d give it a 7.5 (at least) out of 10.
Sound quality ?
Its pretty good, not as loud as a nokia n95 8gb ( in case if you have put your hands on one) and a definitely better than my HTC HD and a bit better than my Pixon.

Hi guys,
If iam calling, i dont hear the person with who iam talking not loud enough, have more samsung jet users this problem? I have the volume on 7 and this is the max. volume on this phone, so iam a little bit disapointed/confused..

Hi Dude...
Well, when i first get a new phone i always let it die completely and then i charge for at least 20 hours( i am not saying that is right to do it that way but it always works for me) and then the second time i charge it for at least 12 hours and then i charge it normally( untill it´s fully charged).
I´ve had several phones until now and I always use the same process and, I´d say that, at least 80% of my phones that I did this, had a better battery life than the other ones that i did not.
I Hope i have helped somehow
By thw way, I am also using a HTC HD and a nokia n95 8gb and i could say that the samsung Jet has a better battery life than both of them.
