“Is the Samsung Jet smarter than smartphone?” – the answer is “NO”. The snappy processor and multitasking functionality are not enough to make someone who´s used to smartphones switch over to a feature phone. The major problem is the lack of additional applications and interconnection among the different software elements.

yes in terms of Firmware updates, only S8000 firmware is available on net & on Samsung's official site.

In the afternoon, INDIA time, I bought the SUPREME S8003 SAMSUNG JET... GUYZ, don't miss to buy this phone.
Camera's STILL CAPTURE quality is very nice..
I am satisfied with the Video Capture quality as well...;)
Sound OUTPUT for Speakerphone is LOUD & Very Gud.
For Earphone, If you use the one which we get with the phone..Realy SUCKS!!
Use a good earphone like of Philips or of SONY... You will feel the difference.
Features are awesome... For me my phone dream come true!!

In Europe, it is S8003. In China, it is S8000C, In Hong Kong, it is S8000H

Without Route66, you cannot use nagvigation. You can only locate the longitude, latitude and height of your location by GPS satellite.

Anybody can use "one touch zoon" in web browser?
According to the review in GSM Arena, it is equipped with Dolphin browser but mine is equipped with Netfront browser instead and cannot use one touch zoom function. I want to know who can use it.
Maybe it only works in Dolphin browser?

1. GPS positioning sure can work in India but GPS navigation depends on your network provider. It requires Route66 which you need to pay first.
2. Personally, I think sound quality is quite good for both speaker and ear bug. It is also very lound.
3. You can install Java in it. I have no problem to use MSN and Java games.

I didn't get my answer for this phone which made me satisfied... I am still in dilemma to buy this phone.
I have only few worries...
1. GPS is working fine in INDIA??
2. How is the sound quality both in Speakerphone as well as in earphones??
3. softwares are available on net for this phone??
Guyz, Please help me, This is my first Samsung Phone & I don't want that I will get a wrong impression or feel regret of buying this very nice looking, fully featured phone... ;)
