easybreeze, 23 Jun 2009I've just seen a clip and it seems that Samsung's still ins... moreI think you got the whole thing wrong, if you hold the backspace button for a while it will delete all the text but if you tap it once then it will delete a single character.. I think that's how its done.

I've just seen a clip and it seems that Samsung's still insist on deleting all the text in an instant when you hold the backspace key - WHY? I sent my last Samsuing back as it was so annoying, can anyone confirm this? It'll stop me getting one :(

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2009the samsung jet comes in two versions, one with 2 GB intern... moremy friend, i was the most interested in the nokia n97 and i bought it and used f or one week, it is a very cheap plastic mobile with many bugs and heavy piece, i sold and got the jet and trust me im not regretting at all, this is my personal opinion.

I'm also stuck in your situation, not sure whether to get this phone or the N97 but it seems the N97 is way overpriced atm and it would take a while for the price to go down. I'd go with this one though, since its available and the price is quite affordable, along with the fast processor unlike the N97.

the guy on the phone from vodaphone told me this phone has the same internal memory as my nokia n95 8gb, is this true ? as it seems it only has 2gb, and if so, can i ugrabe the memory via memory card or something ? would appreciate any reply as its a toss up between the jet and the nokia n97

me, 23 Jun 2009what's the different with omnia 2 ??Omnia II has a bigger screen (3.7 inch) and it runs on windows mobile OS, this one doesn't have an OS but instead runs on java but the new version I guess?

It is already availble in Singapore. This phone is absoulutly GREAT! Like the preview said, it can respond to the slightest touch. 5 megapixel picture quality is great, brilliant and lively screen, and very nice changable transitions. Even with the transitions, it is still quite fast. This phone is an Iphone 3G(or even with the 'S' at the back)killer!

Just got this phone. Very impressed ! Really a smart phone and camera was good !!! Everything u need from a phone can be found in Samsung Jet ... =)
( there's an error : this phone does not come with a digital compass .. and i am still trying to figure ot how to work with the GPS ) ermm .. Nice phone to have !

I went today to Vodafone and after playing with it and compared it side by side with HTC Magic, here are my thoughts. The Samsung Jet looks very very nice. Specialy the screen, is so sharp and colors are very vibrant. The bad side of the whole phone is its performance, which is very slow compared to Magic. Google maps on Jet is very slow, the update speed of map while scrolling/zooming is like 1 frame per 3-5 seconds, compared to Magic where the update speed is several frames per second. Come on, what is that? The menus on Jet are fast, but not as fluent as on Magic. If Jet had Symbian or Android system on it, and if it had faster performance, I would buy it immediately withouth thinking. But with the current interface, I will wait for Omnia2 and give that a try.
