Having been a loyal customer of Sony Ericsson for several years it pains me to say that the company must start to offer devices that are appealing and capable of being considered alternatives to the likes of this device and the lg arena. This device will probably emerge as one of Samsung's best selling devices of all time. Feature phones are fast becoming equal or superior to smart phones in terms of features and functionality unless users have a specific need for an open os to add applications. This device is a case in point.

Awesome phone, compare to apple 3gs processor is one of the key point...
other feature like camera even caputer eye movement etc really awesome phn..............

no other colour? black too common, i am gonna wait for this phone after deciding not to get lg arena.
GUESS both arena and jet will be around the same price.

the Internal memory is 2GB / 8GB / 16GB .
i think i shall buy the 2GB model and buy a seperate 8gb mem card.
will it be cheaper?

Top handset soooooo glad i got this device its surprised me how user friendly it is with wifi and 5mp camera to round off a special piece of equipment which far outways the iphone in every way shape and form, well done samsung great mobile ta!!!

how ironic, all people would probably buy the 2gb version because the 32 gb sd card would be available this year. Rumor says its Q3.

Its now live on the vodafone uk website.
Well definitely need a dataplan for this phone to be worth it.

I have noticed from the 360 degree spin that like its predecessor does not have on board stylus and this is something of a major disadvantage. The OMNIA Pro on the other hand it caries an onboard stylus.

excellent phone. beats the LG Arena (much as i love that phone). one exception---it's resistive! or so i've heard. even if it's very responsive, i don't really like resisitive touchscreens. :(
samsung won't be beating nokia out of the top spot for a long time, coz nokia makes phones for the masses. and the masses give more money; ergo, they stay on top.
good job though :)
