the jet touchscreen is very responsive, the only differences between capacitive never use stylus,pen etc. samsung jet touchscreen resistive use your finger,thumb,nail,cloth,pen,stylus is worked. and capacitive not worked if used pen,stylus,cloth etc.

hello po yung gamit po ng NPS dun mo po iddrag yung playlist moh mga songs para hindi mo na isa-isahin yung songs. ipepersonalized mo lang siya. kasi po kung sa jet mo gagawin yung playlist folder matagal iisa-isahin u po yung kanta. pag sa computer gamit yung NPS madali lang magcreate ng playlist at maglipat ng songs.. pag na open mo na po yung NPS iset mo po yung jet ng media player, open phone connected choose phone or memory card, open media player. sa phone connected click mo yun + signed create folder name and from computer to media player click idrag mo yung folder ng songs sa media player tapus press control A to higlights all songs. used mouse click right click and press import s8003. and if you create another playlist folder do the some process.. delete first all drag songs in media player box before you drag a new.

How to save battery Life all samsung with high processor like jet,omnia,wave,galaxy it has a proper way of charger. do 5x cycle and drain. how?
1.) Make sure all application is turn off, Turn off-wifi,turn off-blutooth,out all the widget in the home screen. always open or "ON the transition effect.
2.) drain your jet. how? if your phone show low battery do not charge wait until the phone is 100% totally off.
3.) after phone totally turn-off. do not charge it in open. charge it in off.. chargin is 2 and half hours.
4.) Do not removed the charger until not appear the "Battery complete unplug charger"
5.) Just do it up to 5x charge drain and cycle. after doing that, observed that your battery life is longer to 3-4 days..
Yes this is not a android phone, but by "jetroid project" samsung jet ported to android. wait it until finished the project, i will post all the link about jetroid project nextweek. every week have a new update for jetroid is very nice and awesome..

I've had this phone since May. I was impressed by the specs and hardware it housed under this sexy hood. Every review I read at that time praised this phone. Oh boy oh boy, NONE of them are right in many respects.
First things first, this phone has incredible video playback. I own a Creative ZVM and that is NOTHING in front of this. Audio is good too, coupled with better earphones (the bundled ones are ok). The next thing I loved was texting- its an absolute joy to use and I can pick up speed really fast; 5 times faster than I could ever type on my old SE K750i.
Now comes the bad things, PDF support is ABSOLUTE garbade. I mainly bought this phone seeing its supposedly 'great' PDF support and its honestly, a piece of shit. It doesnt open PDFs that are larger than 10 pages or so, I can't read ebooks. Samsung should rephrase their catchlines. I'm even tempted to sell this phone due to this.
There are several glitches on this phone too, sometimes crashing randomly (repairable with firmware upgrade though). Its not fast at all, I wonder what Samsung did with the 800Mhz processor. iPhone performs 1000 times better than this and it carries a 600Mhz processor. The UI is sluggish and slow.
Its good in many aspects, and bad in some ways too. But seemingly, the bad outweighs the good. I'm truly disappointed with this phone. People, just don't buy this; go for the Wave. Bada OS is much better.

I was pretty impressed with the specs and bought the S8003. Within a month the set started giving me nightmares - lot of problems of set switching off, hanging, user interface freezing. The worst is that Samsung customer care refuses to react despite numerous mails. DEFINITELY A NO BUY!!

This is the fix: it's kinda stupid, but you have to choose the connection again - go to Internet -> Settings -> Browser profiles -> then choose the network your connected to.

how about its resistive touchsreen? is it good? i mean, im thinking if im gonna buy either LG arena which has capacitive touchsreen or SAMSUNG jet with resistive amoled touchscreen.. i want something that has a good response when it comes to its touchsreens.. im not into apple phones or iphone but i like them when it comes to touchscreen idea,d screen is so responsive.. and i want something like that..
and also which one has the better camera?

I've browsed tens of sites, searching for Qualcomm's "brilliant" achievement of making an entry-level chipset, the MSM6xxx (Mobile Station Modem), running at some stunning 800MHz, on the Samsung Jet S8000, as its [main] CPU. Well... it just isn't the CPU at all! The Jet S8000 has a Samsung S3C6410 @800MHz as a CPU (ARM11-based family) plus the MSM6246 (ARM9E-based family) chipset.

Howz d touch in this phone? Is it hard? Because it says resistive screen and X6 has capacitive screen which is more responsive than resistive. Is it true?

I had the screen freezing 3 times, the maintenance could not fix it, and now i have only one option, to switch it off for good. Even SAMSUNG main office did not respond to my complain. What a loss.
