The OS on this phone sucks. ... morego to this website www.darkforestgroup.com android and jetroid doing hard to ported android 2.1 eclair. but this is not handle by samsung.. the jetroid project will start last july 17, 2010 and is work fine.. but is not totally done.. hoping will be done at the end of this year2010..
According to Bada platform ported to jet once the petition has approve by samsung developer, you will upgrade your jet for bada platform through NPS. because bada platform is only software easy to ported to any mobile phone.. bada is not operating system, bada is only platform... do you want more info go to www.badadev.com

I agree with most of you here. The OS on this phone sucks. I also have a Nokia 5800 and i prefer it to this 100% because of the better user experience. This phone has really great hardware but its poitless when its only using this touchwiz os. Samsung should sighn off on a proper offficial android Os for this. 2.1 eclair anyone?

I just got this Jet for almost a month, and before I had this cp, I had nokia 3210, so I was not used to having such kind of cp. I just wanna ask for help how would I activate my WIFI and how would I use my TV application, please help!!!!!!!!!!1

I understand that bada is much better if u use on jet then android?
so here comes the truly Q: jet isn't an android OS phone?
if isn't ported in good conditions and seems that hasn't a good applying why should i upgd it?

Has anybody experienced problems with the touch screen of the S8000, specially while being in humid areas..near sea or sea near cities.
My samsung screen was not functioning for 6 days while on vacation at Paphos city in Cyprus but when I returned home to Nicosia it started working again. Then a 2 day trip to Ayia Napa caused the same problem. Now I am back to Nicosia and its working ????? any clues???

Hi,
I m using Jet mobile for past 6 months and i m happy with it. But now i m facing some problems.
1) Only one side of the headset is working(Prob is not with Headset)
2) While receiving calls, sometimes it shows as 'Unknown' number, even the number already exist in the mob.
3) Sometimes while restart the mobile,i m getting as 'select option - Headset or TV out' and if i choose Headset then i m not able to listen songs through speakers and if i choose TV out, then videos are not playing
4) Similarly i can hear calls in headset/normal. ie, Sometimes i can hear only when i use headset and vice versa.

bada for jet still wating for approval petition their peoples hoping ported bada for jet to samsung developer. yes upgaraded through NPS bada platform for jet but still on petition jet user waiting untill the petition is approve from samsung developers, the android project not handle by samsung. you have 2 option bada for jet or android for jet. android make boothlooder your jet, bada easy to upgrade through NPS and hndle by samsung.
